A proper team defence will constantly create mismatches between players as attacking players are passed from one defender to another as they go through different zones on the field. However, there are certain players who should be man-marked if they come into a particular zone because of their ability to score.

I'd bring in Burgoyne and tell him that the minute Stengle gets goal side of our defensive 50, he's to stick to him like ******* white on rice. Forward of centre, it's standard team defence though.

No one ******* stood near him for four ******* quarters.

Big pile of bicarb in the forward pocket might throw him off a bit

He literally played for about 15 minutes and that was enough for Kenny to make him a lock 🔐

Pretty sure KennyKletus said 30, 35 or was it 40 minutes

Wonder if motflop has to hand his in on the way out?

Or did Brynn take it?

*no offence to BT - ours, not the one who sounds like a dingo with both front legs in dog traps, whilst being err.........................milked red rocket style when he says Orazio Fantasia

Well that’s baffling.

Bonner was rubbish and deserved to be dropped but shouldn’t have played in the first place. Not sure you drop him now after he has that game out the way.

Mead will be a player but has struggled for impact of late. Needs time in the guts really.

What’s the plan/point of playing McEntee? At least Duursma, Motlop, Mead can rotate through other positions. Does he have any form?

We need scoring power so we bring in a guy who can’t score to save himself. Poor guy, our midfield will get smashed and he’ll be destroyed by Geelong’s defence. Every chance he doesn’t touch it.

Ken's back! Never mind us, look at the opposition!

Aha, so we deal with Stengle the same way we dealt with Pickett, by "watching him". What could possibly go wrong?

Why is everything that comes out of the club these days loser talk? I realise they're setting expectations for the happy clappers, but it's really not hard to express the same views more positively.

KH: Stengle has been a great player for Geelong. There’s language around him about All-Australian and you don’t get that without being a really dangerous player. He gets put in the ‘must watch’ category along with Hawkins, Cameron, Rowan - there’s a few in this team #pafclive

He's your cousin kern, surely even you could get that right - Gary Rohan

*in Hell, how could anyone have watched McEntee last week and have thought this. Literally go and watch the last quarter. Watch all the fumbles, mistakes, and key moments he stuffed when we were a real chance of coming back to win.

When you watch the Magpies, it is glaring how often our ball movement and play is interfered with or stuffed by the top up players. McEntee is one of the players though, that is just as bad as the top ups. I couldn't give 2 shits about this 'percieved' pressure, if he can't pick a ball up, execute a handball and actually kick straight (especially in front of goals where he has zero goal sense).

It's appalling. Every week we hear about how fantastic the opposition is.

No wonder the club is imbued these days with a near enough is good enough attitude.

Hey we tried for 2 and a half quarters.

We know our best is good enough, but ...

KH: Geelong is the team that are clearly the best in the competition at this moment. We look forward to it but we know the size of the challenge

What a ******* loser this guy is. Pumping up the oppo days out and giving himself an out for a loss. Why can't he say, Geelong are in a good vein of form, but we know if we play our way we can beat them? You know, be respectful but actually want to win?
