Was gonna go Chornes, before I read this thread. Didn't realise Carlton could keep him quiet! Leaning towards Bartel or Corey.

Can't not go a player based on a player having a quiet game last time or in case they get tagged by Bannister or Russell. Who have either of those two tagged and beaten since?

Last time I decided against Cornes after reading bigfooty he scored 169. Not doing that again

Further to that Cornes has got the following since the Carlton game ....

107, 131, 134, 169, 138, 166, 111

Now tell me the oppisition in any of those games have not tried to tag or shut him down

Plus he always fires at home.

Cornes doesnt even look like he is in the game at all.

They said at start he left training early and I don't think he is 100%. No influence at all in the first half.

Everytime they camera is on you Chad (which has been very little today) You are walking around with your hands on your hips. I touch that qtr is pathetic.

Try running and getting to a contest or at least do what your brother is doing and rack up 20 un-contested disposals.

There were quite a few posts on here warning people against choosing Cornes vs Carlton. He doesn't have a good record against them, for whatever reason.
Don't have this attitude:

I never look at past performances, can be quite misleading, i just look at current form on the player, current form of both teams, the ground it is at and who is most likely to match up on them.

The stats don't lie - just look at the few games we've had already this round.

The historical stats as per usual:

Richmond vs Collingwood
Swan av 94 over last 3
Bowden av 91 over last 15
Smokey: Richo

Hawthorn vs Brisbane
L.Power av 114 over last 4
S.Black av 98 over last 14
Smokey: Crawford

Port vs Carlton
Scotland, Kornes both av +100 over last 3

Swan - 62
Bowden - 114
Richo - 90
Power - 128
Black - 82
Crawford - 99
Scotland - 105
K.Cornes - 104

A few abnormalities, as can be expected from historical stats. But as you can see they are fairly accurate predictions for most players.

Sort of. He finished with 90, which is still better than what he looked like getting, but also an ordinary effort given his 0-point first half.

He wasn't my captain, but given Riewoldt was and he got 81 for the game, it's not been a good week.
