I like the look of McLeod forward..... bet it doesn't stay that way!

No surprises at all (considering Craig basically gave the extended squad away in an earlier presser). I'm betting Reilly doesn't play... and Tippett comes in.

Well that was an anti climax
yep. but expected, seeing crows are playing sunday, so they'd name a 25 man squad.
Johncock is probably the only likely one to play. Reilly will be in if fit, but if not, one of Petrenko or Otten will come in. i don't mind whichever it is.:thumbsu: although, there's always the possibility that Campbell is dropped and both come in for Macca's 300th.

at least this week it isn't clear cut

but you would think Tippet and Petrenko will go out for starters and then maybe Radar or Ottens

IMO Radar will go out for starters

Campbell may be the next to go, he is only averaging 6 touches a game, NC may want to have a look at Petrenko or another look at Otten prior to finals

If Tippett comes in, Stevens spot would be at serious risk

IMO Tippett is a lock to play (near) full time in ruck. Moran to play as a forward. Both, somewhat surprisingly, have done better in those roles thus far. Wouldn't be surprised to see Stevens out, especially against the Richmond forward line in the wet, with Massie as the 'third tall'. Also with the option of putting Moran in the backlines. I'd say there are still doubts over Reilly's fitness, maybe holding him back another week to get right for September. Campbell's spot is helped by the wet weather predicted. Petrenko might be brought in, depending on confidence over the forwardline, but is unlikely. I think Otten is the benefactor of his outstanding form and because of all these doubts.

Interchange: Tippett, MacKay, Otten, Campbell/Reilly

Pretty sure everyone expected that.

Got a feeling it will be Stiffy & Petrenko that make the final cut.

Interesting to see if Richmond make any late changes as well because if my memory serves me correctly both Richo & Simmonds got injured last week and may not be 100%

hoping petrenko gets the gig well deserved freak of a player played with him over the years at school absoulote gun :thumbsu::thumbsu::cool:

Cartledge looms large at the end of that extended interchange list.

If those 2 are going to play forward, with Richo and maybe deledio have stints in there, i really do not see the need for Stevens in the team this round. I mean both Truck and Bock will be too good for the 2 highlighted and if not we still have Basset and Massie who can take N.Brown or Morton and the 2 highlighted.

For me if we bring in Tippett for Stevens and Otten/Reilly in for Campbell, we will add a huge attacking frame to our team and on top of that i personally want to see Moran run with Richo in the middle, and by having Tippett in the team that won't really weaken our forward options.

I know that Tippett hasn't been playing that well lately, but maybe with the week off, it gave his body a bit of a rest and he will be more pumped then ever (since he has such a competitive nature about him) to just go in and really run a muck in the forward line with Gill as his decoy.

13 + 8 + 8 + 9 + 6= 44.

44/5= 8.8

wtf??

IMO Neil Caig would not have named Petrenko unless he was going to play him
