The final round before finals begin next week. Still a few scenarios in play for the top 8:

Ballarat Dragons v Adelaide Lions
No impact on top 8. If Ballarat win and post a massive score could move as high as 9th depending on other results.
Adelaide extremely likely to remain 14th on the ladder no matter the result.

Geelong v Western Vultures
If Geelong win a top four position is theirs. Lose and they'll be relying on West Coast losing to NT Thunder in order to make the top four.
Vultures need to win and post a large score for an outside chance at a position inside the top 8. Would also need Harbour City and NT Thunder to lose.

St Kilda Titans v Gold Coast Devils
Match of the round. Winner takes top spot. Loser still makes top 4.

Albury Wodonga Galahs v Northern Reds
Neither team can make the 8 but if Albury Wondonga win they could move up to 12th depending on Safety Bay's result.
Northern Reds could return to wooden spoon position if they lose and Gippsland win.

West Coast v NT Thunder
Probably the most critical match of the round. If NT Thunder win they can make the 8 if Harbour City loses.
If the out of form West Coast get a win they could climb into the top 4, lose and they may drop to 7th if things go real badly.

Gippsland Sharks v Safety Bay Stingrays
Neither team can make the 8 but Gippsland can move out of last place with a win and Northern Reds lose.
Safety Bay can't move any higher, but can theoretically drop a position with a loss and Albury Wodonga huge win.

Melbourne v Brisbane Bears
A Melbourne win guarantees a top four position as high as second. A loss can drop them to 5th if Geelong and West Coast win.
Brisbane win and they could move up as high as fifth. A loss could drop them to 8th.

Wagga Wagga Warthogs v Harbour City Hornets
Huge for the final 8 makeup. A Wagga Wagga win could move them up to 5th if West Coast lose. A loss could drop them to 8th.
Harbour City need a win to guarantee a spot in the finals and could move them up as high as 6th. A loss puts their finals hopes in jeopardy with a NT Thunder win or Western Vultures win and huge score knocking them out of the eight. Plenty at stake in this game.

Also just a final reminder to coaches; as per any other round but in particular this round; penalty points can and will be applied to any team deliberately tanking this round by not selecting available players/key players in order to move up the draft order.

Have added it to summary above. Interesting round.

Very interesting indeed. I had thrown my towel in the rack 4 or 5 weeks ago but a real chance to make the 8 now.

I'd usually wish a team I'm not playing good luck... but I really hope you get like 3 or 4 late withdrawals this week. :p
