Dusty and Houli :thumbsu:
Menadue emergency. Happy with his first 2 games. Looks like he'll stick around.

VC Gawn instead. Hoping he can go massive against Berger.

If you continue to risk134 for 16 odd in the absolute best case scenario your going to have a below mediocre year

Clearly not the absolute best case scenario being that multiple players scored > 150 in round 1, and many players within the SCsphere have scored significantly higher than that in the past.

It's unlikely, but not impossible that locking in Dusty costs him 66 points.

For what it's worth, if I was in the same situation, I'd lock Dusty.

But I'm 1/75. Rance. So what do I know?

Not shaping up as a top 100 year like last year?

I'm within reach. 2247 in week 1 had me in the top 6%

The usual suspects:
Shaw, Rockliff, Fyfe and Barlow held me back. Hanners getting knocked out wasn't great either as his scoring was tracking Parker's.

But as far as getting back there again? Well, I guess you need some pretty incredible luck.

Good luck with it.
There are certainly people around who have finished in the top 500 year after year. So it can be done!

1/63 for me. Not great, but really only about 15-20 shy of what you'd hope/expect from a rookie. So not too bad.

On a side note though- I'm shocked with pendles getting 110. He played a real nothing game IMO

Big day for me today.

4/382. Dusty, Pendles, Rance & Menadue. Bit of a meh night. Thought Pendlebury (VC) was going to go big but he faded. Looking for a Captain now. Ablett or Goldy I'm thinking. Would be a gamble, but I'm thinking Fyfe needs to bounce back. Will be better with Sandi back in the side. After last week though I probably want to see the evidence before going down that track.

Have 2/185 (Pendles + Rance)
I have the E on menadue but my other options are Davis, Gresham, or Tippa/Milera through DPP. Any of those you think will beat menadues score?
I'm thinking maybe Gresham

This is the problem with rookies. Gresh is the most likely to beat xanadu's score, but he could just as easily score 50. I'd be happy to back him in to at least score 60 now that he's blown the cobwebs out in his first game.

I'm stuck with xanadu's score coz I cant loophole
