Thomas cops a raw deal overall when you consider just how many other players do similar things (Christensen, Puopolo, Selwood, Shuey, think Pendles on occasion, too, etc.) without there being such a focus on it.

You named the biggest culprits except Pendles (wtf??) however there is no raw deal for Thomas. They are all pathetic

Shuey hasn't ducked in about 2 years.

That's because he doesn't duck he collapses at the knees and raises the arm at the hint of a tackle jelwood style. Just as bad IMO

It's not a 'captain hindsight' as I have none of those players in my team so I was aware pre-season of what those guys would do.

Like you said, some of them had big weeks last week, and now having a dud week - that's what those guys will do.
Like I said, they could all score a ton next week - that's what those guys will do.

You can post their scores each week and one week say "woe is me", next week "genius picks".

Yeah, but I don't think they all cop the same degree of scrutiny, reckon it is focused on more in Thomas's case.

As someone who has played fantasy sports for a number of years you must be aware that mid-priced, unproven players are likely to have massive fluctuations in their score.

Shuey's nowhere as bad as he used to be. Too busy walking the ball out of the middle.

Bit sliding doors... hartley plays round 1 i start with Laird at D4 instead of rich... ended up downgrading to slot in Dea. I have only myself to blame...

The 87 odd from Dea was nice so meh...

I'm coming up roses from my last minute Hartley -> Dea trade. Downgraded Rocky to Wines in order to afford it. Even had Dea on the field this week. Winning.
Wines does worry me a little however so I won't be counting my chickens just yet.
Well maybe I'll count just a few
