I also like to make decisions based on a one game sample size... Just as an FYI he also had scores at 101 and a 106 last year with McVeigh in the side. You could be completely right but a very grand statement to make given how undercooked McVeigh was.
Hang on, everyone's been saying McVeigh is cooked. Now he's undercooked ?
Stop trying to confuse me.

All i know is Horse luvs to play McVeigh whenever possible. Leardership onfield, but mainly because when he plays we seem to win.

McVeigh played. Lloyd went 120. There goes that theory. The guy may simply be a straight line improver with a fairly SC friendly game. Now he gets to play SCG. If he goes 100+ again i'll be chasing him or Simpson ASAP. Yeo went alright but too pricey for the risk. Not concerned about Hibberd in the slightest. Will wait and see on Bonner.
$334K Danger money burning a hole in my pocket. Challenge is to not spend it on one hit wonders, by making any changes this week under the assumption i have no cash.

Is Acres a one hit wonder ? He did look seriously good and might be a straight up early buy as a fwd. Its exactly what we hope for isnt it ? A mid in our fwds ? Its why many wanted Petracca in fwds yeah ? My trigger happy finger is thinking seriously about it coz it seemed more than just a flukey type game. There will always be improvers that jump out of the blocks fast and kill it. Downside risk is limited at his price as well.
Got Heeney/Greene/Billings/Smith/+ regulation shit truck fwd rooks. Looking at Stephenson closely but is damn pricey. Seemed very comfy at this level and has dpp. 20-30pt differences in Rnd 1 rook scores just isnt important.
Fwd rooks are always a shitfight and proving so already. I dont trust Garlett or Ryan to avge more than 35-40, Fritz will need time on the ball or we'll cop plenty of 25-35pt scores from him too, Venebles just looked lost even in a home game, ZGL would have scored 10 if they werent playing witches hats...English/Stephenson look the pick to me with DPP as cream. Even ignoring English as a ruck he may end up a decent fwd rook to have.

Personally thought ZGL looked solid. Dropped a couple of marks he should have taken inside 50 and gave away at least one free that hurt his conversion, but I think he'll be able to compete against any opposition with that forward pressure. Anything 50+ is fine by me, hopefully a couple of higher scores at some point to get him to 300K.

I reckon Venables could come good also. Was in the vicinity of the ball often enough, just struggled to actually get his hands on it/be clean. With the wraps on him surely he finds his feet somewhat if he gets an extended run in the team.

Stephenson and English certainly both looked good and are on the shopping list for next week.

Didn't see Saints game so not sure about Acres. Remember him having a couple of big games previously, is this the year that he finds some consistency/a better role? Could well be.

Anyone got anything on Rayner for me? Took the punt on him, was choosing between LDU and Clark and felt a bit safer with Rayner and his DPP. In the end they all started poorly, so thinking of going Rayner>Graham in the hope that Graham can go 80+ and Rayners average will be under 60. Does that seem likely? I want to pull the trigger today to allow me the chance to get the likes of English, Stephenson, Bonner, Fogarty etc after another look.

Certainly an argument to switch out Rayner. But he's a gun kid and scoring should improve. Hold him if you've got him i reckon....forget the price (coz u own him) and give the kid a chance. If i can give UDL a break, i would certainly give Rayner a chance when he's playing a home game against the Dees.

We cant have all the right rooks, and current information doesnt support an educated conclusion with any of them. Rook decisions right now must come from trusting your eye after seeing them. Everyone will have their opinion...trust your eye with them.
There are plenty more soon to arrive to choose from.
You mention English Stephenson Bonner Fogarty....by next week there will be a LOT more including major rethinks on ones who spudded it up last week, and fresh injuries to your list.
I reckon just narrow it down to the 2 you think are most important and forget the rest for now. Let the rest pick themselves after Rnd 2.
Decisions on guys like Rayner are only for those desperate for enough cash to take a punt on someone else....thats hardly a good basis for dumping someone that costs 200K, but may end up avging 80+. Raps are big on him...give him some air i reckon. He'll sink or swim at the Gabba this week.

I wouldn't mind knowing either. Have traded Engrish into R3 because even if named I'm worried about a late out.

McVeigh is cooked as an sc prospect.
Will still be a decent player for you guys.
Some very good players never become sc prospects.
His time is up as one is all.

Coz then its a total crap shoot.
Any awesome pod I ever pick you can grab the next week easily.
AF is crap

Not crap, just different.
Salary cap is tighter (cheapest rookie 170k of the 12.6m salary cap, players like Bonner much more pricey than SC), and the price changes occur every week, so you can't just pick up 'any awesome POD' eg. Zerrett has already lost >50k after one week.
Also no rolling lockout after Friday bouncedown so need to set and forget.

Its like its run by a 12 year old.
Every new idea gets implemented.
Giving peeps free DPP during the season etc.

Pig Mitchell permacaptain

Having trouble deciding who to field out of Doedee and CEllis. Doedee is safe option as most will have him on their ground so im thinking i may go unique and give CEllis another chance  Or I could bench Murray/Finlayson but at the moment im pretty content with them on field.
