Surely everyone is joking should be zero trades rd 2 unless you have Swan. She's a long season lads might wanna cool your jets.

So Kane Lucas to Nat Fyfe is a bad move then? :p

Fyfe looks to have done a quad. If so, he'll go, otherwise no trades.

Looking through Toby Greene's career, he does tend to go 50, 100, 50, 100, 50,100. ONE more round.

Fortunately the only arguably must-have rookie I missed out on is Menadue. I actually changed my team to include him after the teams came out on Thursday, but was just too late trying to save the team and ended up with McCarthy instead. There's no need trade Menadue in this week though.

If I do trade this week it could be Milera>Dunkley and Mills>Libba.
That would correct my overspending on rookies, (I have Weitering, Oliver, Dea and Ben Kennedy all over $180k too), and get Libba into the team in the appropriate spot (M6).

I don't get that reaction at all.

Might be a little knee jerk but Libba out scored Wines by 30 and cost 170k less.

Any more on this? He had quad troubles last year too...
We'll find out Tuesday. The upside is that I (we) can afford just about anyone except Goldstein. GAJ and Parker the obvious standouts thus far. Neither play before Fyfe next week so can cover a late withdrawal. Had Parker all preseason until last week when I switched him to Fyfe

No trades this week, but yes, I'm Sergey Karjakin, thinking many moves ahead.
Team is solid. Barlow, Rocky and Pendlebury the only underperformers. Rookies nailed, but missed Libba.
Hypothetically, if Pendles defends again and scores sub 100, my D5 Dea (DOA) spuds again and Libba fires, is it worthwhile dumping Scott and Matthew to bring in in Libba and another Def premo as correctional trades?
History has shown that past SC champions have fixed mistakes early in the season. Or am I compounding mistakes?

Don't know what your team looks like but could always go
Pendles>Libba
Dea> Lonergan/Sheridan/Smith/Johannison and bank the cash? Obviously these 4 defenders would have to perform again.

Wasn't needing to do any trades but hearing Fyfe & Robinson injured & I have them both.

If Fyfe is only 1 round out I'll keep him otherwise trade him to probably a Priddis :thumbsu: Robinson I'll see could get Wingard for him so

Basically considering the same thing at the moment.

Seems like a pretty good move! Gives you $250k on top of whatever else you have which could turn Dea into Rich, JJ, Smith, who all showed good signs!

For me, ill try and back my premos in unless there is a real big issue. With Barlow, Rockliff, Shaw being my poor performers I have seen enough from there games to think that they will score much better over the course of the year. Ill definitely be using Round 3 to fix rookies, which atm looks to just be Papley if he can score well again, probably at the expense of Milera..

Yeah, 2 games is not the ideal sample size, but it's better than 1. My mids are Pendles, Gaz, Titch, Neale, Duckwood, Rocky, Mills, Lleyton.

I'll hold him this week. If Chopsticks has another subpar and Robinson misses a couple it could end up an easy sideways trade.
