I'm getting rid of Sidebottom after his first round suspension. and need quite a bit of extra cash to make up for another poor decision in the ruck, so going for a low priced mid who has some upside. I'm open to suggestions for anyone under $285,000 but have come down to these 3. Cant decide between, Ben Kennedy, Darcy Parish, and Callum Mills.
Darcy Parish had the best first game with an impressive 97 but does come in at almost $50,000 ahead of the other 2. Mills impressed a lot more in the NAB and could be a better long term option. And Ben Kennedy looks to make his way into the 22 for Melbourne. What are your thoughts?

Any interest in Clayton Oliver?

Steele > Papley
Salem > JJ
Right decision? Not 100% on Howe, but he should be a decent chance to play this week. Untitled.png

Am having second thoughts about my Sidey > Zaharakis trade.
I've looked at a wider range of options. Who do people think has the most upside in terms of scoring potential, estimated average, and current price:
Duncan: 450k
Hunter: 444k
Sam Gray: 443k
Zaharakis: 436k

Really want Sam Gray but many people have him and would like a POD. I think he is the best out of those 4 though.

I have the cash to go Sidey > Parker/R Gray/Ward but I think those 4 have the potential to average nearly as much and save me over 120k for future trades.

Any thoughts are appreciated.

Likely

Simpkin > Adams (Cant believe i picked Simpkin especially over B.kennedy who was in my team for along time and Simpkin never, bloody Calvin)

Then, either:
T.Miller > S.Gray or Degoey

Probably play it safe with S.Gray.

Steele > Papley
Salem > JJ

Provided they aren't named I would prioritise swapping Ruggles and Kommer to playing rookies if you've got the cash, you're sacrificing early cash generation by keeping non playing rookies on your bench.

Obviously trading Howe should be number one priority if he still doesn't get a game.

I'm really struggling with trading Robbo out. my problem is that I can afford anyone, so do I go for say lewis, ablett or priddis leaving me with less cash next week or do I take a punt on someone like Zaharakis, Lambert, viney or Rich and bank the cash? Or even Parker who while not quite cheap, is underpriced.

You don't normally get such a good opportunity to bring in a Premo like Gaz so early in the season.

I can pick up Gaz and a cash cow ... ya, it messes with my structure, but I can't turn it down.

Ah Chee (Port) out for one of the Swans rookies. Liber just holds his spot cos Robinson is injured. Robbo to Hall

Not concerned at all by Martin's low score. Just feel I need Sam Gray and it is either Martin or Barlow that has to make way for him. Great role, has scored well consistently in a full strength port team, priced about 20 points under what he looks like averaging. Plays Essendon in round 3 too. Would be trading Martin or Barlow back in at some point guaranteed.
Dusty is staying in my team, back the premium players. Plus I have other holes to patch up first

I went

Robinson -> Lambert
and
Cripps -> Danger

is it worth having seedsman for an extra week? Left with 11k

Thanks for the input guys. Some interesting ideas.

I think I'm going to go Berger -> Hickey hard to go past the 15BE even if he wont be scoring like that every week. Should make some good money.

Robo -> Paps leaves me with $385k in the bank for an upgrade on someone like simpkin next week.

Simpkin dropped.

.

He's only in 16% of teams ATM. Watch that skyrocket this week. He might be good to have, PODs are great but value players that heaps of people have could be the less risky option.

Bit boring but good for overall rank. Trade in the best player you can - pod or not.

Matt Rosa is a legitimate C-Grader, dont know why GC recruited him nor why people got on him at over 400k

Look at his scores when he didn't have the vest last season +he went to a side with significant midfield injuries. Can see why people jumped on him.

What i think people didn't really look at was how often the bloke is injured. Can't remember the last time he played 20 games in a season.

Lucky to have no forced changes, so have the option of luxury trades.

Have Steel in FWD, Harwood and Seedsman in DEF.

should i do:

Steel and Seedsman > Ben Kennedy + Johannsen (keep Harwood)

Harwood and Seedsman > Clay Cameron and Rich (keep Steel)

or Steel and Harwood > Kennedy and Cameron + $$$ (keep Seedsman)
