if you can do clark to sandilands in one trade its a no brainer...shame it would take me two :(

Ok so i have decided that i am going to get Sandilands....through trading out Clark..

Only problem is i need 3 k to do it :(

So which other trade would be the best move..

Goodwin -> broughton
Warren -> Dangerfield
Hitchcock -> Duncan

thoughts? or please talk me out of it

Well if I had to choose between those 3 I'd go option 2.
Danger is playing well and set for a big price rise. I would like to have him in my team.

Can't agree. He did nothing after quarter time last week and with Gray, Hartlett, Rodan and Motlop all to be knocking on the door in the next few weeks I think he is nearing the end of his run in the team.

At his current '2 goals a game', he'll get 40+ goals.

What more could you ask of a small forward? Plus Choco loves him. I think he's safe until his current form ceases.

Hi guys, I have Nathan van Berlo + 80k in the bank. With his back injury (have a feeling he could be out for a few weeks, and/or restricted by it for the rest of the season). I have narrowed down the options to:

Cooney - Has the potential to score massively. Only issue is, when he has a quiet game, he doesn't tend to score well DT-wise. I also already have Boyd & Higgins, so not sure if I should do with the Coon dog and have virtually 3/4 of the Bulldogs main mids!

K Cornes - Mr. Consistency. Can rack up big numbers consistently, even when he isn't finding the footy (see: 15 tackles last week)

L Power - Sneaks under the guard (Black & Rich cop the most attention). Finds the footy, can kick a goal, and often gets loose to take marks. Also a unique pick at 1.96% of teams!

T Boak - Seems to have matured this year. Has really lifted his game a notch, and appears to be getting to the right places. Can also lay multiple tackles regularly, and knows where the goals are. Another unique pick who I quite like.

D Cross, K Simpson, A Selwood have also come into calculations!

Of all those I feel Cooney has the best value and is set for a very big season. I would def go Coon Dog. Don't see why you wouldn't have Higgins in the foward line where there are vastly less options for big scorers? Same with those who have Pav in the middle. Seriously WTF?

Selwood also offers massive value at 386K.

Thanks mate - although I do have Higgins in my forward-line. I meant 3/4 of the Bulldogs primary midfielders in real matches - not my DT midfield. I remember Selwood polling some spectacular scores last season too...

What's people's thoughts on downgrading someone who was a potential keeper (Gray) to another midpricer (Danger)?

Gray is killing me at the moment, but I'm worried if I downgrade him to Danger, it's going to cost me another trade in the future, so is it better to downgrade him to a rookie for the extra cash knowing you'll have to use another trade down the track regardless?

So;
Gray -> Dangerfield (90k, better scorer, potential to become a keeper, but I doubt you'll be in contention at the end if Danger is your 7th forward... so he'll probably require another trade on top of the first one... didn't crack 100 even with 5 goals)
or
Gray -> Duncan/Peterson (more cash (about 220k), won't score as well and don't have the stability, but both will increase in price and should earn you another ~100-150k as cows. Will definitely require another trade)

I think Danger is probably the better option for the stability he provides and better scoring, but I don't like knowing that I'm going to have to use another trade on him down the track.
Hmmm... Any thoughts?

900 bucks short of Bob Murphy :'(

Yeh i did the gray to danger last week.. Duncan looks good but i was worried about job security come business end of the season. I think danger has the potential to do what higgins did last year and also I will keep him as 7th forward because the average i predict of about 80-85ish will be good enough for fwds. Or maybe even look at franklin if u dont have him?

im 100 bucks short of a IN Brown and Kruze OUT Ziebell and Clark!!!!!
Shattered!!!!!!!

Leave ziebell, they got pumped last week its nothing to worry about! And plus they play west coast this week who always deliver up rising star nominations... so a 100+ could be headed his way

Hey Guys i am looking at trading out Jobe Watson and Robbie Gray and would appreciate some feedback on who i should pick up?

Which combo would you go with

COMBO 1
Michael Rischetelli & Jonathon Brown

COMBO 2
Trent Cotchin & Ryan O Keefe

Or should i leave Gray and Watson in and just trade out Mitch Clark to Sandi?

I am thinking of downgrading R Hargrave (exp 40k drop) to Malceski (exp 36k rise...and playing the tigers this week)...should i pull the trigger and make the trade or wait for Hargrave to come good....
at the momenti am not happy with a 400k player who is averaging 59pts a game.....but dont want to waste trades. Any thoughts would help me as i am sort of the fence at the moment

Here's an idea.

Don't.

Round 1 - Hargrave apparently had the flu
Round 2 - Richmond kicked 7.6

So in summary, don't.

definately do not trade...its a waste. Hargrave has been had the flu and will be back to 90+ per game from here on. Even if he drops in value it doesnt matter as he is a keeper.

Ok i need some help. What should i do with Clark? Should i keep him or trade to Sandi?

Also, what do ppl think of Armitage? Is he worth keeping or better to trade to Jordie McKenzie?

Why do you want to get rid of Watson?

Rischetelli and Cotchin are both unproven DT wise.

I don't really wan't to get rid of Watson but would really like to get O'Keefe or J Brown in before their prices get to large.

Do you have any suggestions on what changes if any that i should make?My Side is as follows

BACKS
Brendan GODDARD, Heath SHAW, Corey ENRIGHT, Luke HODGE, Beau WATERS, Josh HUNT, Alex SILVAGNI (Matt MAGUIRE, Ben NASON)

MIDFIELD
Gary ABLETT, Jimmy BARTEL, Sam MITCHELL, Jobe WATSON, Michael BARLOW, Luke SHUEY (Dustin MARTING, Ryan BASTINAC)

RUCKS
Mitch CLARK, David HILLE (Rob WARNOCK, Matthew LOBBE)

FORWARDS
Nick RIEWOLDT, Paul CHAPMAN, Steve JOHNSON, Daniel GIANSIRACUSA, Robbie GRAY, Cameron HITCHCOCK (Scott GUMBLETON, Relton ROBERTS)

I'd only do Clark to Sandi there.

If you want to use another trade / get extra cash you could do
Roberts > Peterson

aswell but I don't think it is worth it.

i'm thinking maybe

hunt > waters

should i offload gray? if i do, i have 80k in bank if i do that above trade

what about gray? should i hold on to him?

should i go downgrade masten > howlett/bastinac whoever has more job security

and then upgrade gray to ROK or similar

thinkin about a dreaded double trade.
made the mistake of showing no faith in jbrown, and showing too much in hall..i also selected harvey as a 4th mid due to DP
so im actually thinking hall >> brown (something i would have had to do eventually and costing 2 trades then)
and downgrading harvey (he kicked 3 goals in round 1, and couldnt crack a ton, which is not good enough for someone of his value)
i think barlow can become a keeper, so that potentially saves a trade later in the year, it will also allow me to get a better player than harvey eventually

thoughts?
