Jai Culley - good on him. Poor decision by us. His best position always was as a third tallish forward, good above his head, and not as a midfielder. Poor list management by us!

I like Culley and he's done a few good things, but he's playing against us.

Gross did more in the five minutes he was on ball this quarter than 90% of our mids have done all game. He’s a kid playing his first year so he’s not gonna be as good for as long, but that’s what the bench is for. As far as contributing in other areas as concerned, most of our other guys can’t contribute in multiple areas. Cole is purely a backman , Duggan is purely a back despite being thrown in the middle every now and then because he can’t do anything when he’s in there. Ginbey only play down back, Cripps can only play forward. It makes no sense that you’re singling out a young kid in his first season to say that he can only play one position. Also, I was mainly laughing at the fact that you think Hall is not gonna be any good either. You potted two of the young kids that have shown a good amount this season which is crazy.

LOL. I explained the narrow path for Hall to be an AFL player given his obvious deficiencies. The other poster agreed and you liked the post. He’s slow. He’s an ok decision maker when not under pressure. He’s poor under pressure.

Gross has shown a couple of signs this year but solely as an inside mid. And he gets rag dolled too much to stay in there long, he has no tank and he’s not got any penetration on his disposal. That should all improve eventually but those, like you, who’ve been screaming for him to play should STFU after today where he’s basically been ass.

Instead you chose to ignore reality and play to your ignorant biases. Again. As always.

Yeah I wanted them to keep him, but he had about four touches in the first 40 minutes and has filled his boots since the run came on.

Not sure he’d fit in our forwardline as he’d be fifth in line for the tall forward spot, and that’s ultimately where he’ll land if he is to make it as an AFL option. Is what it is, has contributed nothing to where we are today.
