have roo on bench with hall thus no cover, thinking of, trading roo, moving adams (gws) mids to fwd bench giving cover , and 536100 to spend on mid field to join, gaj, pendles, jobe, mitchell, boyd (gibson/wingard) ,

choices judd (ess/gc/ Stk)/harvey(pies/freo/gws)/hayes(geel/gws/ car)
or go for pod pearce freo (rich ,home/nm/melb,home)

15 pts ave less vs a better run home for pearce or judd nice and rested

or swap adams for a fwd mpp , put adams to fwd bench and have cover and trade roo for a fwd

choices harvey/pearce /roughy/petrie waste up to 25000 with that group or bennell/hale waste 60000

fwds are/buddy/tomahawk/dangerfield/goodes/fyfe/sidebottom/zorko roo/hall

I'd be going the first route, trade out N. Roo > swap Adams to fwds > bring in a premium mid. With $536100, I wouldn't be going anywhere near Pearce, much better options available at that price. Of the 3 midfielders you mentioned, I think Judd is the best option, might feel like he has a point to prove after his suspension. However, I think the best option at that price tag is Rory Sloane - has Brisbane at the Gabba this week, then Melbourne at the MCG, and finally Gold Coast at home. He has played every game, so I suppose there's a chance Adelaide could rest him, but he's pretty young so you'd think he'll be alright.

No trades for me this week as I've got the week off in my only league. Somehow I still have 3 trades left, and next week when Swan comes back I'll have a full team of premiums (unless someone else goes down) - hopefully be able to make a few luxury trades.

Now that I'm on the comp. Current team is...

Goddard, Deledio, Birchall, H Shaw, Enright, Lake, Dempsey (Mohr, Darley)

Ablett, Pendlebury, Swan, Swallow, Thompson, Watson (Gibson, Crozier)

Goldstein, Mumford (Spencer, Stephenson)

Franklin, Chapman, Dangerfield, Sidebottom, Goodes, Martin, Zorko (Porplyzia, Pfieffer)

Mohr and Crozier out for the year. The assumption is Porplyzia will come back and have a good run. The best player I can trade him for is O'Keefe/Roguhead. Pfieffer could be upgraded to Walker or J Riewoldt or Stevie J OR DPP's Bennel, Lewis, Robinson. But as I said last night to play them I have to drop a good player. It really only provides me security in M/F if a player gets injured or suspended.

The worry is if Buddy or Chapman are a late out. Pfieffer on an extended interchange is my only cover.

ATM in DEF my only back up is Darley. When Porplyzia is back I have ample cover as many can also move into MID. So thats why my train of thought has been Darley to Duffield. LEaves me 0 trades but cover. I could trade Lake or Dempsey for the complete gun but again Im left with only Darley as cover. And he can easily be dropped.

In terms of trading Mohr I also afford Grimes, Rance, Fisher. No one else is really better than Lake or Dempsey. Duffield has been on fire last 3 weeks.

One last option is to risk not trading back myself and if I win I have a trade for prelim.

Goodes has a good record against the doggies, i wouldnt be trading him - NROO to buddy is a logical move, however you could go NROO to Ruffhead (would be a good POD and have a gut feeling he will smash GC on the weekend, it also gives you an option of trading in a DPP ruckman allowing ruffy to cove any ruck disasters that may occur...

trade Mohr out for best u can get (agree Duff has been on fire but there is the R.Lyon factor) this will also give u cover in all 4 areas next week especially if porplyzia is back

Was going to trade Adams to the best 100k option then upgrade Porp to Dangerfield next week, use remaining cash on upgrading a mid-ranger. Thoughts?

I wasted a trade and significant cash to do it too. Then to rub it in the traded Lake pumped out 100. Waters' lowest score before last week had been something like 76, so I thought he was a sure thing. 50 FFS.
