there are still top 2 (home final) and top 4 spots to be decided

then there's also the week off before finals

players won't just be rested for the sake of it, as it will stop form/momentum, which is crucial heading into finals

it'll mean 3 weeks off between matches; rd 22 / rest / bye / finals

unless a player is carrying an injury, no way they'll be rested

With a bye before the finals its very unlikely players will get rested just for the sake of it.... I actually think the pre-finals bye is going to disadvantage the top 4 teams (especially the 2 teams who win their QF in week 1)...

With no trades left, luckily i've had all my emergencies playing... But definitely have some concerns in my starting 22.... I don't know how bad Buddy's injury is, and Sloane & Lewis may have potential MRP trouble?

I've been considering doing the same trade, but I like the look of boomer now that he's playing for a new contract next year.

I've got 2 trades this week and 116k in the bank.
Assuming no unforseen outs at selection it will be something like:

Bartel to JJ
Dahlhouse to Boomer.

Leaves a whopping 75k which isn't ideal.
I'm kinda hoping I get a few out so I can put the trades to better use than these little fixups.

Actually Suma Magic suggestions of some menegola loophole trickery could be a better use of the trades...

Week off before finals might mean only resting those genuinely nursing an injury, otherwise 2 weeks off might be a little too much heading into a high intensity final

Still have one trade left, have done for the past 4 weeks.
Not sure I have any possibility of upgrading.
Jack Steven is my week link. He's been awful since I brought him in but his price has plummeted so much that I don't see a viable replacement and with Brisbane this week I think I have no choice but to hold him.
Callan Ward would be the other in the gun, but likewise, can't really afford anyone better after his price has fallen off a cliff. Tom Mitchell maybe, but is he really that much of an upgrade?
The other option would be Mathieson -> Menagola for some loophole fun.
