Assuming you guys come 6 or 7 and Hawthorn comes 2 or 3 and assuming 2 of Sydney, freo and port have a home final you will play Saturday arvo. If you happen to draw Adelaide you will get a Sunday final and if Hawthorn comes 1 or 4 it could change the date with the side of the draw your on.

Hey Vaughany,

Got a link?

Saturday Arvo is best outcome really... will give us a decent break for week 1 of finals.. plus experience playing on the G during the afternoon.. might come in handy ;)

Players still reckon you pull up worse after an Etihad game.. so North (our likely opponents) will have to face that.. if we play Adelaide in week 1.. then we will have an extra day of rest plus they have to travel over here..

So for a minor thing.. it is a good result.

Goodness me I hope we smash those blue pricks. They play their grand final and go into quarter time with a 2 goal lead not really showing their statistical dominance around the ground. Bomber gives the boys a rev and we kick 10 goals to 0 in the second quarter. The blues drop their heads and while Mutthouse is talking at half time their players are drifting away thinking of end of season trips.

3 goals in the first 10 mins to the bombers sees the contest completely die. Blues fans stream out of the ground and the remaining 45k Essendon fans watch a training drill where Goddard slaps three Essendon players on the back of the head at different stages as they perfect their ball movement patterns for the final. Daniher leads high to take marks on the wing feeding the handball to mids running past. The long kick to Carlisle see's him pull down 15 marks inside 50 for the second half, kicking 12 goals in the 2nd half.

Watson subbed out to be cherry ripe to tear the heart out of the front running Roos the following week. Fletch to take mark of the year in the defensive goal square.
