Any early indications yet on how bad Yeo looks? Had to miss most of the second half. :(

Nothing yet. Weirdly he didn’t have ice on anything for the rest of the game on the bench and even during the footage of the rooms at half-time he didn't look particularly bothered by anything.

Hopefully he just has "groin awareness", which I also have after that win.

Changes might come down to if Dev is suspended. If so, then that’s two big bodies in Yeo and Dev out, so we might need to add another stronger body in there. If Dev plays, then we might just shuffle the decks.

Hated the idea of Yeo straight back to an inside mid. The experiment should be over now, when he’s fit again he should play defence where he’s won an AA and give him a chance to stay on the park.

Stoked we’ve got decent players to come back in, to cover injuries, I hope Hewett gets a call up.
Yeo is a big loss, but the team is playing competitive footy.
I’ve been a massive Kelly critic, but he stuck it right up me and was outstanding today, well done to him and about time.

Even if it's awareness I highly doubt Yeo plays next week as they'll want to rest him for a period.

Losing Six Devon to suspension, which I think is pretty likely, on top of Yeo is also going to hurt.

IN: Hewitt, Brock
OUT: Yeo, Robertson

McCarthy or Bo Allan into the mids to help fill the void. Need some big bodies in there for some tackling pressure.

Too early for Milan i reckon, Schoenberg gets another week.

Hewett, spelling FFS!
20 push ups DS.

No chance Dev gets suspended. Tribunal is all outcome over action, I expect we’ll challenge if he gets 1 week and it’ll be easy to get overturned

Champion in for Newton
Brock in for Yeo.

Baker to play more midfield and fwd with Yeo out until Hewett is ready.

Think Ginbey is being asked a lot of to play on the key fwd monsters. Prefer Brock and Young to play as the key backs and Ginbey as the third tall.

Ginbey, Young, Hough
Judd , Brock, McCarthy
Duursma, Harley , Davis
Graham, Shanahan, Baker
CDT, Snake, Cripps

Flynn, Kelly, Get Dev

Duggan, A.Reid, Lindsay, Champion, Harry

In - Brock
Out - Yeo

Bo Allan into the midfield to replace Yeo
Brock Slides in down back for the extra height we need against the swans
Means Lindsay stays in the side down back

Agree with this

It’s not a like for like replacement but we need some more height in defence against Sydney. Push Allan into the midfield to use Yeo’s minutes

Fear that Robertson will get a couple of weeks like we saw Humphrey get for a similar action and result for his tackle on Rioli. If that happens, I’d be looking at either Hall or Macrae to replace Dev on the basis that Hewett probably needs another week in the WAFL judging by McQualter’s comments in the press conference

McQualter also indicated no issues with Duggan’s ankle and was optimistic Yeo’s groin was minor pending the inevitable scans

Wing/Half forward selection heating up. Hewett and Brock should be automatic ins so if Dev isn't suspended it will be interesting. Good week to kick 2 goals if you are Bo Allan. Whatever happened to that Tyrell Dewar guy who a year ago Mini said was too good not to be in the side? 20 possessions a piece in round 2&3 last year, 2 goals and 590m gained against the Lions then squeezed out.

Honesty I think Hough should be really considered to be dropped

Something is wrong with him this year...he has been very poor so far
Had a bad start this week, but is generally super composed and does a lot of blink and you miss stuff. Had 17 & 4 tackles last week. No need to drop a regular if they have a few down weeks.

Didn't play any of the pre season games with that ankle so that might explain why he's looking rusty as hell.

IN: Hall & Bazzo/Brock

OUT: Yeo (inj) & Robertson (sus).

Hearing Mini post-match, they’ll give Hewett another week in the WAFL and increase his game time.

Need to play another genuine key defender. They could do with the support. Young has only done two full pre-season’s at the highest level and Ginbey is playing above his height.

I think McCarthy will be given more opportunity to start on the ball. We’re getting to the point where are young talls (namely Archer & CDT) might be given an extra week to support their recovery.

I'd like to see another crack at the McCarthy as a midfielder plan. Granted this might be in the works anyway pending Starcevich's return and Yeo's injury etc.

A whole pre-season there, needs a few more chances. Much like Yeo though, it would be nice to have two of him to play on multiple lines.
