I hadnt thought about that, definitely could be the caseI honestly think they just took the easiest way out because the software was already programmed to take in to account Bye rounds
Yep. I had 29 players playing (22 removing the 7 Melb/Ess)
I was f’ed because I had put the E on Melbourne players so had players like Noble and Brown scoring and on the bench locked with no E. At the very least they could have made it best 18 from your entire squad of 30. That would have made it a little bit more fair.

Priced averages rather than one or two game seasonal averages would have been the better approachI’m not sure what the best approach was with the melb ess game, as it was I had 6 and a player on the bench I couldn’t move and traded in petrecca and Bennell before the round started. I guess they thought best 18 was the best option.
If they went with season averages how would it go if say you had a rookie like Sturt that had played one game and you got a hundred every week? I guess there are pros and cons with each decision. The main thing I didn’t like was it was in the middle of the round and your bench was locked.
Anyway just my take on it, at least now we know that if it happens again what it will be from now on.
Yep, agreed. They referenced the Phil Walsh game but that was totally different. It was before the round started so could move players off the bench and had two trades. Making the decision they did, after 6 games had taken place, was absolutely wrong.

that'd be ridiculous. people put their melbourne and essendon players on the bench.Surely they could've figured out a way for the points to be backdated to round 3 once they play the game.
projections makes the most sense. but the game ought to not be included in the players history and their prices wouldnt change.I’m not sure what the best approach was with the melb ess game, as it was I had 6 and a player on the bench I couldn’t move and traded in petrecca and Bennell before the round started. Someone explain the double points round to me
Is it basically all Melbourne/Essendon players get a captain's score or do they get 2 games worth of scores and the higher score is included in your point total? Surely it's the former, right?
Yep that would of made the most sense I thinkPriced averages rather than one or two game seasonal averages would have been the better approach
Not really. You just lock Round 3 when last game starts and then apply the scores to those players when they play. Would mean results for Round 3 would be delayed, but no advantage or disadvantage to anyone.that'd be ridiculous. people put their melbourne and essendon players on the bench.
Yup
Prices and BE changed in line with this too
Sir this is a SuperCoach forum. Take your nonsense elsewhereI noticed the price changes...So what happens in AF when Ess/Melb play again? Do both teams end up getting an extra price change or the catch up game will be completely ignored since points and prices have already been allocated?

Has this been confirmed or still in discussions? No, the fairest way to do it would have been to give averages, or projected totals, or something last week. But they didn't. They gave Best 18 and committed to a double point round. So unfortunately if you don't take advantage and trade in melb/ess players then it's just stiff sh*t.
Can't change the goalposts now, they set the rules on Saturday night.
