I wouldn't mind betting their software doesn't have the ability to pick up the scores of players on the bench without the E on them.

They’ve only has three months to update it. Not like this situation was unpredictable. In fact, not having this mapped out with a prior ruling on what would happen in this scenario is bloody lazy and inept I must say.

Another good week & the Doedee price would increase by a bit more than $16k I'd imagine.
That projection is based on a score of only 52 in which case you probs wouldn't be picking him up.

I think I have a fair solution for the byes fiasco

Anyone who had Melbourne and Essendon players last weekend deserves double game points for those players in the round it happens. For eg I only had gawn Devon and rivers and wasn’t hurt compared to others. So those three get double points.

Anyone who brings in either teams players from this week onwards gets the 1 highest score of the two games. So jumping on Petracca/Merrett/Shiel and Oliver doesn’t create anarchy for just about any campaigner.

How’s that sound? Those that got reamed last week get a look back in and feel in the running again and the people who try to take advantage of the double points don’t gain any ground.

I think it’s the only fair solution. Anyone who has any contacts at champion data is more then welcome to tweet this idea or message them.

It has been suggested by some that teams that already had any Melb/Ess players in round 3 should get the double points for those players,
not any traded in after. It's the only way to compensate those that were screwed over imo. Won't happen tho. My bet is they go back
on it and abandon the double game benefit, just to further ram it up us. They should have confirmed it one way or another by now.

For me it's such a head **** of a week tossing up b/w 1 or 2 of Trac Simpkin & Doedee

"more" is the operative word.

I don't think any scenario is ideally fair for everyone.

Those 7 players get double points during the double-point week.

Say...
Gawn C gets 150 and 100 = 500
Oliver, Smith and Viney grab 100 in each game = 600
Rivers and Bennell grab 50 in each game = 200

That's already 1300 points with another 16 players to play.

...and Uncle still won’t crack 2k

And again, do you really think their software would have the ability to differentiate between players traded in before or after round 3?

Take a step back and think how FN wonderful it is to have SC and the madness it brings with it. A month ago, we had NO live sport anywhere in the world. Keep up the rage kentlemen! Good to have a distraction from the shit going on around us.

What's the most likely way that the ESS v MEL will be reflected into Supercoach scores down the track?

Don't be silly. People need to be given a chance to trade in Melb & Ess players so they're not at a disadvantage to those that have plenty. FFS man, it's all about being fair.

Seriously, anyone hanging out for double points rounds or worried about others jumping in and gaining an advantage are kidding themselves.
The later game cannot will not be scored and included in totals. Dont blame the messenger, just be realistic. As far as the game goes, round 3 is finished. You cant retrospectively adjust points to a finished round. To make it work, they would have to create a whole new round for just Melb v ess. Not going to happen.

I can't understand why so many people are confused. It's really quite simple.

Melbourne play Essendon, Gawn scores 180
Melbourne play Bulldogs, Gawn scores 120

For that Supercoach week, he gets 300 points. If he's your captain, he gets 600 points.

As much as I want to load up on players from Ess & Melb, if 2020 has taught me anything it's not to have too many players from the same teams, especially from average teams. With such a wide standard deviation in scoring, if your players team has a bad game like Hawthorn did against Geelong in Rd2 for example and you had 4 premo Hawks in your team like I did score 300 points between them, your round is shot.

What if you had 6 or 7 players. I only had 18 scoring players so couldn't drop Sturt/Whitfield etc scores.
I know some were even worse off. My rank dropped from just over 2000 to nearly 10000. Going with averages
would have been a lot simpler and easily the lesser evil. They screwed up.
