Hopefully bench ends up like:

Browne, Pfieffer, Bower, Hoops

Bentick - been playing well at VFL but we have better players that can do his role

O'hAilpin - Don't believe we need him. Needs to get form at VFL. Jamo is a better FB.

Russell - Do I need to say?

:eek: All i can say is that Russell better bloody well not be playing!!

Didn't think Grigg had done much to earn a recall after his soft start to the year. Carrazzo AND Scotland still in! Maybe Scotto because it's the Pies but i'm not convinced.

Looks to be another conservative week by our Match Committee.

So who gets dropped an who comes in?

Hampson out (confirmed)
Russell out?

Browne & Grigg should come to provide run.

Good inclusions, disappointing to see Hampson dropped but he hasn't been playing well.

I reckon we might see.....

IN: O'hAilpin, Browne
OUT: Hampson, Russell

For a final bench of O'hAilpin, Houlihan, Pfeiffer, Browne

Emergencies Bentick Hampson Russell

Think Grigg will be amongst the in's, he's named on the wing.

Can somebody explain to me why Kade Simpson has been named in the BP. He's been our best mid over the past couple of years, and we reward him by putting him in the BP - WTF!?

We have greater midfield depth now, more grunt with Hadley and Judd and a bulked up Gibbsy.....Kade is a 70m run, bounce and break the lines type, so I think he is best suited to setting up play across HB or on the wing. However, possibly with our dearth of small defenders and Collingwood's collection of small dangerous forwards might consign him to playing a role this week, if so whether he lines up in a BP or across HB is immaterial.

What a joke. We get a guy like Hampson who has only played 3 games of footy, but we all believe he could be something really good in a few years, then in only his 4th game you give hime 36% game time then drop him. I thought the Cloke, Hampson, Kreuzer combo would work well. And would help limit the pressure on Kreuzer? More importantly Hampson needs game time - lots lots more game time. Can't play Kreuzer for long stints at CHF if he is the back up ruckman.

Although he only got 30% TOG last week.

I would have liked to see him given more ruck time this week and Cloke played at CHF.

Cloke is too slow for CHF and he has been doing well in the ruck, so he holds his place.

It will do Hammer good to get a run in the twos. He still looks a bit proppy and his forward work when played there still needs a lot of work. (although it hasn't stopped us playing our senior players in the one's to get match fitness:eek:)

With so many underdone players and our failure to be able to run out games, we just can't afford to have someone sitting on the bench for that amount of time.Trying to play JK and Harts in the same team to give them match experience cost us last season, so perhaps they are trying not to make the same mistake with MK and Hammer:)

We have looked too tall to me, which has exacerbated our lack of run problems. It will be interesting to see if Carlos actually plays of if we go for the extra runner.

your contradicting yourself. hampson is our future ruck and needs gametime, but how will he get it behind cloke and kruzer?
by sending him to the ants' he can play the full match and get that game time. its not about punishing the kid, its about developing the kid, and playing 40% of a game is shit development.

This may be so (although i personally doubt it) however it'd be pretty silly of us to telegraph i don't you think. Still quite possible that there could be a 'surprise' late change.

That's all well and good Gilly, but from what I have seen, his defensive pressure is almost non-existent. Would much prefer to see him line up on the wing, where he has been damaging for the past 2 years.

I know many of you have stated you don't want to see him in the side, but what do you think the chances of big Setanta playing are?
