Chris Judd is at the height of his career !!!!!!!!!!! and a superstar at that. no way would you trade down to a an inconsistant performer for the sake of spending an extra few bucks !

is there any word on how long birchall's going to be out? i've got suban and s hill on the bench who can cover him for a few weeks... but if it's going to be 6 weeks, i think i'd get rid of him

Mastern to Ottens or Danger???? :confused:
Flip a coin im spewing i dont have either, but danger looks to have some kid of body for a rookie!! should be able to hold up well and is good with the hard ball, otten is very effective as well tho, wont really matter i dont think mate.

The Anthony trade is soooo tricky. i have 18 trades. Should i do both of these trades or just 1 or none?

Anothony----> Beams
J Riewoldt----> N Krakour

For the Anothny one will his injury hamper him when he comes back into the AFL? if i swap for beams now then when he maxes out trade back to Anthony would i be wasting 2 trades to get $200,000 or is it worth it?

Thanks in advance

Cant decide between

Wells > Beams
or
Wells > Dangerfield

whose likely to go up more this week? i plan to keep them in for 4-5 weeks then upgrade

Quick question.

Nicoski > Hurn or Nicoski > Rance.

Backs- Newman, Gilbee, C Cornes, Houlihan, Petrenko, Cheney, Nicoski

Bench - P Burgoyne, Hurley

Burgs will be back, but Nicoski killing me. 16 points last week. BE of 105.
Hurn looks a much better scoring option. If l go Rance l gain the $$ but then have 4 backline rookies. (3 playing for at least a 2 weeks).

Help:thumbsu:

Get Nicoski the **** out of there, he is a donkey! Then get Hurn in there as you have enough rookies as it is.

That's your best option, trust me on this. :D:thumbsu:

Go Dangerfield mate, he looks like playing all 22 games where as Beams isn't such a lock in. :)

Despite it now costing me $71K more I am seriously considering switching Raines to Gilbert. I have $130K spare and 19 trades left.

If I don't I have 2 injured players on my bench (backs) and am starting 3 rookies

Gilbert looks the goods and is only 1 week into his price rise. I don't have major problems anywhere else. I think it will leave my team very strong entering into round 1 of my league.

Yes, I know, I should have done it last week ..... thoughts?

have 1 space to fill for defence (SC), and need to choose between:

petrenko, hill or suban.

Adelaide play geelong, so i would prefer not to have 3 crows (i also have bock and otten).

Freo play the saints so hill and suban could also have poor scores.

I still rate hill ahead of suban, and he far better last week than his previous games, so this will hopefully continue. Petrenko has the best average, but at this stage i am leaning towards hill.

Thoughts?

I'd still go Petrenko even if it means playing 3 Crows. He looks the goods and is more consistant than Suban/Hill. Freo will get torn a new one and I don't think Suban and Hill will even get to see much of the ball to be honest.

Thats just my opinion though. :D

Go for it dude. Gilbert is way better than Raine's plus Raine's will always have that dodgy knee to worry about.

Gilbert also looks like a keeper where as Raine's doesn't.

Should have really done it last week though, oh well. :D

I've already got and am happy with Judd anyways so he is not an option.

Will trade out Butler ---> Beams

Looking at going Clarke ----> Drummond/Newman

Or Joel Selwood ----> Dal Santo

Maybe even Hille ---> Jolly/Fraser

Are these a little too sideways?

Scored well last week and my team is looking quite good. Although now I have 349K in the bank which I'm thinking is a little too much.

Thoughts?

Cheers

Haha Cheers for that. First year of SC so I'm still learning the ropes ;).

Tossing up between Drummond and Newman at the moment.

Drummond has a higher ceiling as shown on the weekend, but is extremely injury prone. Newman has been fairly durable and should average 100 +.
Gilbee could even be an option.

Also have Joel Bowden and noticed he's been scoring well below average, obviously due to his role change. Although he has been known to start slow in recent years.

I've done:
Wells -> Beams
Geary -> Goddard

Went Geary cos he won't increase as much as the other backs and didnt want to have 3 saints in my backline. 4 trades used, 100k in the bank with 1 back upgrade left.

Now watch Goddard score 60 this week :o

Why would you give the thumbs up to dumping Clarke after 3 games, he has plenty of potential this season. Especially to bring in an injury riddled player like Drummond (GO DOWN YOU BASTARD - SNAP QUAD/HAMMY NOW!!!) ;)
