Kelly was impressive against the Hawks. He was great, some of his possessions were just classy. I am really happy with J Kelly back, he has really improved himself in the pre-season, and looks to continue that.

Pris was very good too. There is no way you can drop either of these two, for now.

Exactly mate, the first monkey to go for me is Brynes, has the prepheral vision of a three year old.

how far away is Max Rooke?
He only played one quarter in the VFL, and the word was he was injured, but buggered if I can find anything about it in the media.

From todays Addy
Max Rooke left the ground early with hamstring tightness in the one that hadn't been him concerning him _ both will be assessed today

Sorry to say Big Nasty but could not vote on this pole as I believe Selwood should come in,we really have to do something about our clearences.
But both Kelly and Prismall should stay, Byrnes is the one to go.

Another Rooke update in the Addy

The news was not so good for Max Rooke, whose comeback to the senior side has suffered another setback.

Rooke came off in the Cats' VFL game on Saturday with tightness in his hamstring. Ironically, it was not the hamstring that has plagued his pre-season.

Geelong football manager Neil Balme said it was unlikely Rooke would play this week. ``He's certainly got a hamstring problem. He'll probably miss it,'' he said.

Rooke has not had the best of luck since making his season debut last week.

He was concussed in the first half of the VFL game last week before coming back on and performing well in the second half.

Gary Ablett, who suffered a corked calf on Sunday, was expected to be fit for the Kangaroos clash on Sunday.

Exciting wingman Jason Davenport should also play in the VFL this week after copping a knock on the knee late on Saturday.
