That’s was as close to being non-competitive as you will ever see from a team at any level.

I’m sorry but there is something fundamentally wrong for that to happen.

I’m struggling to see one single positive from that apart from Smillie getting four quarters. That’s about it.

I have watched a few games but only snippets of this. Smillie seems to have minimal initiative. It’s as if the ball needs to fall near him before he gets it. Once he has it, he is good with it. No grunt to speak of. Nothing but half pace. No gut running to make a play or defend. May be he will look better when he plays with better players who can bring him in.
Some really poor basic skill errors are a worry.

Similar thing happened in the champs. I had this concern when we drafted him. From being projected pick one to going pick 7. The boy clearly has flaws in his game. Let’s hope he can improve those and become the classy bull we need.

Sonsie & Bauer won't make it, hurts me to say because I was really hoping Bauer would.

Sonsie is just too small, you need to be a bit fearless if you're of small stature. Sonsie is too soft.

Been in the system 4 years now would have been nice to see him build a bit of a chest and arms.

Vfl there for development that's all , but there's some dead wood that need to go.

Colina
OHB
Kossie
Sonsie

Blight I'm not convinced at all 2 weeks in a row his been below par. Gives me Graham Polak vibes.

Some embarrassing efforts out there not even doing the basics including some of our kids need a grilling
we should of cut Colina last year..
waste of time

All fair points , but take into consideration match conditioning to.

Kaleb Smith our best and should be in line for a call up. Looked lively in the back half right up until he was rested for most of the last quarter.
Sonsie, after being red hot last week was lukewarm at best this week.
McAuliffe about the same but if fit enough you'd think he's put himself in front of Sonsie for a call up.
Smilie got enough of the ball but disposal was generally horrendous. Just happy to see him building up the minutes and think he played close to a full game today. Can be a slow burn for him, no hurry to get him in the seniors.
Alger showed a bit. Wasn't a great game for the forwards but ended up with 3 behinds and looked the most likely to impact the scoreboard.
Bauer, Fawcett & Raso were all fairly quiet up forward.
Blight. I've been optimistic about him, but today I felt you could flip a coin if you needed either him or Kozshitzke to be promoted to AFL and Kozitchke is shit.
Judson. Got a decent half a match under his belt without doing anything that stood out.

Games like this do give a bit of an insight to older players on our list. Makes the decision to cut them at years end so much easier.

Sonsie
Bauer
Colina
Kosi
OHB

In the gun.

Question marks on:

Fawcett - still young so gets time
Blight - inexperienced so gets a bit more time
