Agree with what VOR had to say but want to emphasize Reads return to football! He played very well imo!

Apologies to Gardiner - It was a toss up between him and Fletch for last spot. While dominant, he was a little below his previous form IMO.

5. Michael Gardiner - was far and away the BOG. Cometti likened him to Farmer and Moss - nuff said.
4. Chad Fletcher - once again thashed the poor Purples. Bell should learn to tag a little better
3. Daniel Chick - I am now officially a member of the Chooky Fan Club.He is on his way to becoming my new favourite player - totally pulled Pav's pants down. On the subject of Pav - he is just ike is namesake i.e a supposedly hard exterior and SOFT in the middle. I loved his handball to give Phil a goal in the last quarter.
2. Ben Cousins - A typical Captains effort from our Benny. He really is an absolute gem.
1. Drew Banfield - As tough as they come. Totally eclipsed Farmer who spent most of his day mouthing off at either Drew,Kasey,The Umpires or his own players. A hack. Back to the WAFL with him.
If Connolly had any guts, he would send Croad, Farmer and Headland back to the WAFL. He can't send Clive because Bluey would play him is the ressies
