Essendon against Melbourne threatens to be a morgue after the two big games hammerings. I am surprised at how soft centred Essendon have been. I expected them to make a real pitch for finals.

G predicting 71,000 for C'wood V Richmond. Seems surprisingly low but you never know. The G must be tracking sales and perhaps it will be an underwhelming crowd though clearly a Collingwood coming off three successive wins at home to a ladder topping Richmond on what it seems will be a decent day weather wise would be thought of as a nailed on 80K. I think it will reach 75K.
