Is it worth trading macintosh to simmonds (BE 8)
I've got McIntosh and was assuming I'd keep him to the end but it's getting really tempting to break a golden rule on this one. I've heard a rumour that he's playing with a niggle, and Simmonds looks like he's still decent value. I think a lot depends on how you'd use the extra 45k, for example it would allow me an upgrade to Riewoldt.

I still don't think I'll burn a trade on him, but not having had the chance to watch any Kangaroos games I don't really know how he's looking on the field and, more importantly, whether he'll be able to step up to an 80+ average.

I would think Ellis >> Bradshaw is a bit of a sideways trade....we haven't seen the best from Ellis and he's definately improving. Limited TOG on the weekend hurt his score.
I agree that it's a sidewards trade but I think Ellis isn't ever gonan get heaps more time on ground. It's amazing that he's averaging so high with that much time on ground

Why is Ellis getting limited TOG? Is it due to Hawthorns depth?

If so, I am considering Ellis -----> Mcleod.

Ellis may have peaked after gaining 60k in value and Mcleod's value of 350k might be the cheapest I could get him.

Given the limited number of premium backs this year, Mcleod is ranked 7 overall amongst the backs and is a real playmaker for Adelaide... jump on him?

I just don't think that Clarkson has faith in Ellis. If that changes Ellis could be in for a few very large scores

1. What is the best way for me to upgrade my rookies, and have the best team possible by the finals?

2. What trades should I do this round?

3. What rookies are ready to be traded?I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS!

Hey guys here is my team as it stands atm...i havn't done anything to it and i am worried about a couple of my players (B.Johnson, T.Cloke, Hill, Kennelly and Goodes).

If you were in my situation what would you do as far as trades go?

I have 15 trades left and have got 21,600 grand in the bank.

Thanks if you respond:thumbsu:.

hey guys, trying to get my backline in order so interested to see what you think of these trades, currently have:

Shaw, Thornton, Symes, Birchall, McPharmlin, Nicoski, NJ Brown with Hartlett and SDThompson emergencies.

Looking to trade Nicoski and Hartlett ---> Goddard and T Pears but am short about 1K :(

The other rookies/cash cows i could trade out to make the Goddard trade are Tippett, Dew (will he play again?), Gamble, Kruezer, Palmer & C Morton but i am hesitatant to trade any of these as they are all still going up.

Thoughts????

This week trading:
Tuck to Ibboston/Hinkley/8th centre rookie, meh whoever I trade too won't get traded again this year anyway.

Tredrea to Riewoldt/Franklin.
Life's tough choices. Thinking Franklin but riskier. Same price.

Not sure if I'll trade this week but if I do it will probably be:

Gram to a decent backman (any suggestions???)
Stevens to Judd

Looking to offload a KPF for Paul Chapman.

I've got 22k in the bank, plus Franklin (378,000) (obviously not trading him), Lloyd (330,700), J. Brown(315,000), N. Thompson (209,200).

Chapman costs 410,700

Obviously I'd need to trade a cash cow as well. I was thinking C. Morton -> T Cotchin, but I'm not sure if Morton's peaked, or if Cotchin is ready.

Thoughts.
