Only need 60's from him to gain value, with another 80 in there to boost him to $300k.

Day is $50k more, and now has Scrimshaw back in the team.
Egg is $100k more, and despite his excellent score last week, I can't afford to bring him in.
I already have McPherson.

Someone care to refute any of the above, and tell me why McKay is a bad option for DEF? (Only need a DEF)

I said I wouldn’t get McKay.
86 from 5 touches @ 60% is a hilarious outlier - his score was carried by an absurd number of 1% that on exposed form (ie basically nothing) he is unlikely to replicate IMO - so to my eyes his scoring is limited and he’s much more likely to push out 40s.
I can’t speak on JS but the fact last week was his first game this year and a late in at that IIRC doesn’t strike me as rock solid.
I’ll miss him and happily be proven wrong but my gut tells me he’s a trap.

I say BS. Cripps doesn't turn up in the first few minutes of the game these days. He wouldn't catch COVID in a meatworks, let alone a zephyr like Simpkin.
