I just beat my best score of last week (2314) and got 2391

I don't know how I did it. I reckon I will have the highest score in my league and will take another mega jump up the overall rankings. Last week I went up from 17995 to 6,285 and this week I reckon I could even get top 1000?

I dont even have an Ablett, Dal Santo or a Bartel, not alot of stars in defense. I'm still wondering how on earth I did it! LOL! Birdman and Cox as Ccaptain helped me out though.

Is that a possibility with my score to be top 1000 in the overall rankings do you think?

Around 2074 carrying one zero, and Shaw, Bradshaw, Thompson, Simmonds, and Hawkins each scoring below fifty. Stevens, Stanton, and Rioli average, and had to have Tippet in covering for Reiwoldt. Looking forward to upgrading another spot this week, with Reiwoldt and C Cornes to come off the bench down the track.

On the plus side, Newman, Buddy, Dal Santo (c), Cox, Mattner, Bock, Palmer, Pav, Brown and Ibbo all did their stuff. Can't complain.

My story is funny too but not as good as yours.

My opponent had C.Cornes on the ground as captain and no-one on the defense emergency bench to cover him, no vice captain named, Riewoldt on the ground with no playing emergency on the forward emergency bench, Watson pulling out and Kenelly injured! LMFAO!

Probably would have won still anyways but its good to have a helping hand any way you can get it in this game!

Well I've had my first league loss for the season- by about 60 points (SC hasn't updated it yet). Gilbee and/or Pavlich- why couldn't one of you kick a couple of winning goals or lay some serious ball off? Gah. And why did my opponent have to have Palmer? He's been my ace in the hole a couple of times now...

Boo.

On the positive side, I will be making some big trades in the next two weeks, so the pain now is OK.

Something very odd- according to the head-to-head progressive score I have won 2066 to 2057. I usually put all the scores in a spreadsheet so there's no mistake, but this week I didn't get around to it- next week I'll be back to the old-fashioned way I think. AND I had a zero up back.

All we need now is Impromptu to grab a few 4 leaf clovers and stick them under his pillow case before he goes to bed or something and I'm sure his luck will change too!

Heee! Sounds like my Dreamteam team each year- all Saints. Hardly ever look at it TBH- more a test to see if it's possible. It actually isn't this year- I had to put in some ex player chump in the mids to make up the numbers...

Too true about the 'prompt- he certainly has had some shocking luck. His lot would have done for my lot most weeks from memory. Now if I can only syphon a little bit of this luck into the lottery, I'll shout you all a cold one or two...

On a side note I have mis calculated my scores. I ended up only getting 2266 instead of 2391 which I thought I had got for some reason.

Still I ended up thrashing my opponent and getting a reasonable score, can't complain too much.

I was never good at maths in school!
