Good trades....:thumbsu:

Now what about mine?

I need to get rid of Mattner and Ellis so i am thinking of doing this....

Gamble (on bench)------> 83 grander or Valenti (if named)
Ellis--------> Milburn

Then week after i will do...

Mattner/Waters-------> Anyone.

Will leave me with 8 trades but my team will be finished as far as fixing things up goes and i will leave the remaining trades for injuries/suspensions.
they look like good trades im also in the same boat with the trades after i get rid of pfeiffer and get milburn and hill to rookie il also have 8 trades left but a prety complete team

It will be an interesting team selection next round, with all the injuries from round 7.

This is my grand 3 week plan, but it'll never pan out as I expect... it never does, but here goes:

week 1-
In: PBurg, Ibbotson (late I know, but could do with some cash)
Out: Symes, Mattner

Leaves me with 93k

Week 2:
In: BJ
Out: Cloke

Hopefully leaving me with about 50k

Week 3:
In: Chapman, rookie forward
Out: Rioli, Gamble

Hopefully leaving me with 100k

Would still have Ibbotson, Wonna and Palmer as playing rookies, and I would only have 8 trades left.

Thoughts?

Awesome, have enough for a straight swap, Bird ---> Swan with 2k left.

If Geary doesn't play in Round 8:
Bird ---> Swan with 2k left
Geary ---> Browne with 46k left

This would mean i would still have Jack on the bench with Browne. Midfield for Round 8 would be Priddis, Cross, Swan, Stevens, Gibbs and Palmer

or

If Geary does play in Round 8:
Jack ---> Corey with 6k left
Bird ---> Browne with 98 left

then week after
Gibbs ---> Swan

This would mean i would have Geary and Browne on the bench. Midfield for Round 9 would be Priddis, Cross, Swan, Corey, Stevens and Palmer

Now, that would be a nice midfield!
Mine could be like this after this round of trading (houli > browne, bird > corey)

Bartel, Corey, Cross, Murphy, Stevens and Palmer.

With Ibbotson and Browne very ample bench players.
Huge potential midfield scores. Only dilemma would be who to select as the Big C.

Yeah I think those trades have to be done... I have Waters and Mattner also, and will be looking to trade out one of the two based on their performances over the next two weeks - I'll acquire Milburn I think. I got rid of Ellis last week, for Goddard.

You could almost get Valenti even if he doesn't get named, given that he is only $72K. That is, only if you have enough money elsewhere on your bench to not need a 3rd cash cow in the forward line. If you are indeed nearing a final team, your 9th forward doesn't necessarily need to play, let alone actually get some points.

All I know so far, is that Cale Morton is out for Browne (carl) to free some cash before Morton goes down any further.

After that not 100% sure, its either upgrade Gram to a top ranked back, or perhaps get in Brad Johnson as he has shown form now and the week off will probably do him wonders. Either way, both are good options and it really comes down to how many injured players are going to be returning.

Cheers. I worked it out using the Too Serious site and used players averages as the projections.

Pending injuries, after round 10 my team would look like this...

Backs: Cornes, Shaw, Burgoyne, Milburn, Goddard, Wonna, Ibbotson (Selwood, SDT)

Mids: Kornes, Swan, Thompson, Ablett, Stevens, Palmer (Browne, Ebert)

Rucks: Cox, Simmonds (West, Cartledge)

Fwd: Brown, Johnson, Pavlich, Chapman, Deledio, Didak, Porplyzia (Tippet, Rookie - Valenti?)

That would leave me with $100k for future upgrades and 8 trades.

Would then only need to upgrade Palmer, Wonna and Ibbo --> but one of the defenders could stay if they average 70+. Would like to turn Palmer into Corey/Bartel by the end of the year. Thoughts?

BTW, I know this could all be wasted if players score too well or too low, injuries etc etc.

Out Bird/Dyson
In Browne/Swan

That may complete my midfield(Cross, Kornes,Thompson,Corey,Swan) .Palmer is a fairly consistent player and seems to have found his feet in that team. He is a pretty good 6th mid for now.

I can do:
B.Jones -> Milburn
Kennely -> P.Burg

BUT

i want to get on Browne this week, and need to jump off Hill. would also like to get BJ as Roo is gonna have to sit on the bench... so should i do the above? or Bird -> Browne, Hill -> BJ?? argh what to do

might have to decide once i see Milburn, PBurg and BJ's B/E's

Can't believe my x factor Hodge is out with a hammy! Not sure whether to trade him out for Swan or fix up my backline of

Cornes
Shaw
Macdonald
Goddard
Gram :thumbsdown:
Mattner :thumbsdown:
Ellis :thumbsdown:

Thompson
Hansen

I can probably play Wonna or Ebert for Hodge and just get Milburn for Ellis....thoughts?

Trading Jones + Riewoldt + 41.2K this round.......

Riewoldt > ROK

Jones to Cameron Ling or Adam Goodes. Who is the better options.

Or are there any better options under $3549900

Probably no trades - Current list sits as:

Defenders: Shaw, Osborne, Mcleod, Bolton, Birchall, Gilbee, Nathan J Brown (Cornes, Pfeiffer)

Midfield: Cross, K Cornes, Stevens, Burgoyne, Goodes, Palmer (Callan, Mackay)

Rucks: Simmonds, Hille (Kreuzer, Tippet)

Forwards: Franklin, Burton, Akermanis, B Johnson, Rioli, J Brown,Tippet (Mckinely, Mayne)

Injury concerns are bold
As soon as Brown/Cornes are fit ill be right to go.... looking to maybe trade C Bolton down the track. Hopefully Pfeiffer gets another game and MAYNE - is he going to get a game or what?

Looking to finally get rid of N.Jones and have 2 options
James Kelly: $366k averaging 101
Heath Scotland: $367k averaging 83

Has been Kelly breakout season and doesnt look like stopping and is still great value, but Scotland at one of the lowest prices i have ever seen him is very enticing. With the fall of Thornton he appears to be back into his old role and picking up form again. Who is the better pick??

Ellis --> Goddard
Bird ---> Browne

Next week
Palmer/Houli ---> Swan/Marc Murphy
Palmer/Houli ----> Marc Murphy/Swan

BOLD: YES
RED BOLD: MAYBE
