Gotta question what Neelds sakcing actually did. A whole different style of gameplay. An actual Gameplan. We looked more 2017 like. Is it all related or am I looking too far into it?

Stringer showed he can be very effective without doing anything extraordinary. Had some good cameos in the midfield too, so that experiment isn't quite over.

He started alot in the middle and then went forward straight away and swapping with Smith.

Think that is a perfect way to do it. Get Stringers strength and explosion from the centre kicking towards Smiths pressure.

Then swap thwm so Smith pressures from that point on.

I thought the best thing about today was the balance. Everyone knew their role.

Hooker was in AA form today.
We haven't had a player like Smith in a long time. His pressure is outstanding
Ridley. How Can a player on debut look so composed?
Walla was back to his best.
McKernan was good. Could have ended up with 6 goals
Heppell put in a captain's performance
Merrett was excellent. Very important for him to fire like he did today. Completely changes the dynamic of our team.
Saad was really good. That's the role that we wanted him to play. Completely killed it off FB.
Zaharakis actually ran the other way and went hard at the contest.

All in all, it was our best performance of the year. We haven't ran both ways like that in a long time. Our defensive game across the ground was Richmond like.
