3 game average of 38.
47 is 20% higher than his rolling average.
I would have taken 40 from parsons.
North will beat the dees...
Yes a definite chance ......Hannan has 2 x 53 scores, and the seductive 96 ......today could be his day in the sun (well most likely rain)

2/392c best start ever :)
Can only go down hill from here!
You see, peaking at your score only brings bad luck ......me, not looking at my score, preserves my weekend of not knowing how putrid i am going

So 3/8 53 or above.
His last 3 goal game was one of those 53s.
Would need more than a few goals.
This is his last week in my team.
He's not going on ground to crab me again.
I understand your logic and you make a fair point.
I've just learnt my hannan lesson.

Fisher looks to be the iffy player in those matchups ??......i have him as well, and my expectations of his score isn't great :(
Yeah that's true. Can't upgrade him unfortunately, though could possibly upgrade Marchbank for a few extra points if needed.

Will see how today's games go with newman and a few other swans uniques that I have and make a call a bit later. Mutimer is also on the cards...

Anyone think I'm crazy for putting the VC on Treloar today? If the pies are anywhere close to their best they should tear the hawks a new one tonight.
Absolutely not crazy .....i was going to put the (c) on Treloar if Danger hadn't done what he did ......fresh from a week off, on the large MCG, and against a slow Hawthorn midfield .....only proviso would be the weather, which may dent his speed across the ground

So let me think about this. If one made 160k picking 500k players at the start of the season in absence of Dangerfield, but picked him up this week or next week. They would have an extra 320k in the bank. Its not as if Dangerfield has been Captain material until tonight.

if its wet treloar is a far better option - see anzac day SC scoring

Understand what you are getting at. However for me it's a simple equation. If you think a midfielder is likely to be in the top 3 for their position at the end of the year you should just pick them from the start and be done with it. Granted this has not been a normal year in SC terms, but I'm still comfortable with my decision to have him from the start. Only reason he's been down the last few weeks is because he's been playing injured. That can happen to anyone.

Interesting ? .....why is that so? .....i thought his main strength was run & carry?

This !! .....but also when selecting your side, you need to include 3-4 Captain options, which is where you can make significant gains / wins each week

:p ....Handballs more than kicking???? .....so better DE?
I think it's because he's a very agile player. As long as his groin is not grumbling he's quicker than most in the wet.

Correct. The game at its essence is about getting your team as a whole to a level, the only way you can do that is to pick players low $ and make money from them. However, there are a limited number of trades, so the idea is to maximise the trading up and down around a select group of players, and minimise the number of players that need to be traded. Essentially this is the Premo/Rookie strategy. And it's been shown that it is far preferable to the mid priced madness strategy, as ultimately most of those mid pricers are not good enough to be in the final team (if you're going well) so you've got more trades to make than you ordinarily would.

Only the muppets in here will claim that not starting with Dangerfield was a smart move.

Sure, we all take risks and we have to try fit as many good players as we can inside the cap, but based on form last year and his untaggable game and the number 1 scorer from last year AND in his prime, Danger was a no brainer. Not to mention the best captain choice week in week out (derailed by injury).

So, you going to put the (vc) on Treloar ? ......i prefer him today over Pendles, who IMO still won't have his mind on the job
