I do see it from both sides. I avoided Gawn at the start, and prior to his injury, I reckon I won out on that, because I saved 250k at least, of which I am averaging 97, and used that extra cash to smash out an extra premo mid.Understand what you are getting at. However for me it's a simple equation. If you think a midfielder is likely to be in the top 3 for their position at the end of the year you should just pick them from the start and be done with it. Granted this has not been a normal year in SC terms, but I'm still comfortable with my decision to have him from the start. Only reason he's been down the last few weeks is because he's been playing injured. That can happen to anyone.
