After a lengthy yet successful fight this week to escape suspension for touching an umpire against Essendon, Curnow has been ruled out of the Blues’ clash against the Demons on Sunday due to injury.

Carlton coach Brendon Bolton confirmed on Saturday morning that the Blues didn’t want to take any risks with Curnow, who’ll be sidelined due to a tight quad.
