He is probably underweight for his height and has only played 40 games. He will end up a solid player.Higgo is the best forward on our list by a county mile.
There is nobody to replace Caminiti. When there is he will be gone.

I reckon that will get pulled in when we get a squad that's pushing up the ladder. That's fair to some degree. However he can take some responsibility for us remaining unprepared physically to compete at AFL level.
Old Ross would never allow an extra day off. 16 hours at the club a week is pathetic. We sound like a team of uni students, not a professional sporting club.
AgreeRichmond just beat WCE by 2 points. Without sounding overly negative I have a feeling we will be the first team to lose to WCE this year.

This is the majority of the reason we lost. Probs around 80% of it.Our guys have to hold on too long because no-one finds space or provides options ahead of the ball carrier.
.
Is every club different?I reckon that will get pulled in when we get a squad that's pushing up the ladder.
He’s an inside midfielder playing at least 90% CBAs. Far too often Cripps just ran it out the middle which put our defence and both lines under the pump.I'd look at all the numbers. Not just ones that suit your argument.
Was its Steele's best game? No.
Did Cripps own us? No.
I could argue that with Cripps playing as second ruck that his clearance numbers and contested possessions are somewhat inflated.
I could also make the argument that Steele had more impact on the game than Cripps.
42% disposal effectiveness compared to 70%
4 turnovers to 2
2 marks to 6
Intercept possessions 2 to 4
Score involvements 4 to 7.
This pile on at present is just a tad over the top.
Edit: just to further the argument. Both AFL ratings and Champion Data also give Steele a better game than Cripps.
He’s a stop gap. Really we have nobody better than him to replace him with. At least you know he will try.
I know we’re all impatient but the writing off of Caminiti, Wilson, Travaglia and Hastie I’m reading on various threads here is just insane! He’s a developing tall. Writing him off this soon is insane. He’s had very good games at both ends. With King in to take the best defender he’d be a totally different player.
NFI sorry.Is every club different?
Are the AFLPA involved in this?
I think that is what I am saying. There is nobody better. If there was they would be playing and if develops in the meantime, then great. I don’t get the hate for him. He’s a developing tall. Writing him off this soon is insane. He’s had very good games at both ends. With King in to take the best defender he’d be a totally different player.
Yep, people have latched onto the Healy comments in round 1, where he said he hasn't improved, which is ridiculous, for a guy who didn't have the red carpet laid out for him in juniors, he's done well......how many tall key forwards are any good within their first 3-4 years, hardly any. I'd say he's tracking well, he's a fierce competitor. He’s a developing tall. Writing him off this soon is insane. He’s had very good games at both ends. Yep, he’d be in the mix of possibles to go out, especially given Wood plays the role he’s been playing the last couple of weeks.I reckon Windy is in trouble of losing his spot. Really poor last night. Just doesn't seem to have a position at the moment.
I’m surprised he didn’t try to rip his jumper off, Hulk-style!my mind was just wandering to how ridiculous and funny Phillipou's goal celebrations were hahah, what a cooker, we need more of that
Pou for instance was dropped after playing 3 quarters on the ball for 2 disposals. Wilson just had the 5th-most on the ground, the 2nd-most in his career and the 7th-most ranking points on the ground. There would be merit in it though. Windy was dropped and came back better. Pou was dropped and came back better. Garcia. I’m sure there’s still plenty for him to learn.
This is not hating on the kid - but there’s nothing wrong with the seconds for a young kid to develop them. Opens a spot for wood at the very least.
Taller and more athletic than Scully and much more capable overhead and of playing as a genuine forward.Wilson has a bit of X factor that isn't showing through this year. He can kick bags of goals and can run. His ceiling is unlimited. Tom Scully was a pretty limited footballer. An athlete who chose to play footy.
He is playing injured from last week.Joey on First Crack exposed numerous clips of Howard giving McKay a huge amount of space. Dougal almost looks injured the way he waddles but probably just lacking match fitness. Given a one year late last year, clearly he’s really a stop gap. Is it 6 years at $5 mil for Aleer?
Completely agree. Understand the current Wilson frustrations but still think he’s tracking towards or better then max holmes, who also IIRC struggled with disposal.Taller and more athletic than Scully and much more capable overhead and of playing as a genuine forward.
Scully at his best was damn good though. Eg was 2nd in their B&F in a prelim year in 2016 and 5th the following year.
Two things can be true here. Caminiti is doing very well given the pathway he came through and his forward craft hasn't really improved from his first year.Yep, people have latched onto the Healy comments in round 1, where he said he hasn't improved, which is ridiculous, for a guy who didn't have the red carpet laid out for him in juniors, he's done well......how many tall key forwards are any good within their first 3-4 years, hardly any. Think of some of the big names where their 'improvement' was never questioned in their first 5 years, Shache etc. They always had the comforting words of, oh big talls take time to develop.
