Anyone got Short and unsure whether to trade/hold? I'm so sick of him but not sure whether it's worth holding for another week or two. I've also got Bice... leaning towards holding both for the next 1-2 weeks and seeing how they're tracking before deciding on which one to cull

yeah I got Short but I need to bolster my midfield and get some depth. He survvives and probably survives the year

West Coast teenager Tom Gross reveals what he has to do to return to Eagles’ AFL side

Impressive West Coast draftee Tom Gross has revealed what coach Andrew McQualter wants him to focus on in order to force his way back into the AFL side. Gross has been a shining light for the winless Eagles this season, impressing on debut against Greater Western Sydney in round four with 17 disposals, five clearances and a goal.

The bullocking midfielder said McQualter had him set for predominantly a forward role when he returned to the AFL team. “He wanted me to play my role (on Saturday) as a bit of a forward. He sees me playing forward in the team,” Gross said. “It’s a pretty heavy load being 18 and playing in the midfield at AFL level. He told me to compete today and hopefully I get my place back in the squad. “Andrew sees me playing forward which is best for the team.”

Rather he was playing forward than not at all. Then he can just make another $100k and be traded out.

I've turfed Short & Rowell I hate having both in my team.

Anyone else considering Flynn to Marshall this week. Max really stops my upgrades as no Money left. But with Marshall i can boost and go FOS to Sheez as well and have about 50k left in the bank
Marshall went on a rampage second halve of 2024.
I’m thinking of getting him into flex.

Cerra an Flynn to maxy and hust with maxy in flex no boosts down to 20 trades hust lash Reid bice an Lindsay on field seems wrong but maxy 170k to 1 up 1 down next week or just just cerra to Warner Kako to hust

Bice - what’s the main argument for retention?
Seems like 80 is a reasonable mid-term average, and he‘ll be priced at high 70‘s, how long’s too long?

Flynn - how much longer are folks considering holding? Marshall within reach

Cerra - has the latte gone bad, Charlie Murphy?
Bice was averaging 98 before last week (removing sub affected score). One bad game and people are actively considering trading him. That’d be as stupid as trading Jordan Fraudson. If he’s the last rookie on your field, there’s an argument, otherwise he’s almost a keeper TBH. Fraudson scored a 60. Even Nicky D scored a 66.

Holding Mel Gibson GIF

Do get this and it's the side most are coming down on, but by the same token, these rookies will cool off / the fallen prremos will hit price levels at which it makes sense to switch horses.
All in the timing, I guess.
Holding Bice this week as it stands, but reckon mid-term, he's an 80's operator, don't see him averaging higher than that. But have been wrong before
* cough * Dylan shit campaigner Moore * cough *

Trading in C.Warner to F6 this round and I’ll move Daniel to Flex.

I feel Daniel’s is good for 70-90s. Thinking upgrading him to Marshall who can pump out 130s and sit him at flex instead. This helps my rd 12 bye too.

23 trades and 2 boosts in hand with 3 rookies on field to upgrade.

Or just keep Daniel’s at flex….

Looked at something like this. Think Marshall good buying, doesn't have the easiest upcoming run of opponents, though.
West Coast yeah, but otherwise Carlton (OK, but not great), Gold Coast (not good), Melbourne (Gawn smacks RoMa around like a little bitch, from memory, he's Macy's bunny), Dogs (depends which Timmeh shows up(, Collingwood and Freo (neither great for RoMa), Hawthorn then Maxy part deux etc.
Not ideal, tbh

I did look at his up coming opponents, it is a tough run.
Maybe best just to save the trade and have helmet boy sit at Flex.

Feel Mini's pain. It's tough fitting talented youngsters into that stacked midfield

At this point I’d rather keep Bice than Short.

Didn't pass his police check?

Don't waste your time.

I thought my response to that post was the funniest football related thing I'd ever written...
...crickets... 🙄

We're wasted here I tell ya. (*)

(*) See, that's a bit of a joke in itself. 😎

He’s not getting any cheaper for the rest of the year IMO. Sick of anti podding him every week. 120k bank for next weeks upgrades

Really wish I'd have swapped him in for TDK last week.

Having said that, 3 tough games leading up to the bye.
I'm seriously considering;
- English. Has found some form. Price about to leap. Has Darwin (good scoring ground for rucks) then Ess and Geelong...

- Witts. Same deal with Darwin. (Averages 110+ there) for 2 games, then St. K, Freo and Geelong leading into a good bye.
(I'll put it here that he'll outscore Xerri over the next 4 games)

Both ~100k cheaper.

Many options this week, still have 3 boosts left -

Conservative
- Prior/Kako to Box/Sinclair or Fonti/Holmes

Flynn dropped (sensible)
- Prior/Kako/Flynn to Box/Marshall/Warner

Flynn dropped (**** it)
- Prior/Flynn to Box/Bont

Full send
- Prior/Cerra/Flynn to Box/Bont/Marshall or Sinclair

Don't really want Warner as I'll have too many forwards (still need JHF back in after his bye). Most of my rookies are still going up, even Kako will make money this week so isn't a must-trade.

Should probably play the long game and go the top option as that gains a premo using two bench rookies right? Team before trades 24 (3) $160k itb
