With team releases occurring the day before the teams play, I think it's important to lock in your choices early in the round.
What if Collingwood decide to rest Grundy this week?
What if Neale is rested ahead of the upcoming schedule?
What if Preuss is given a run for Melbourne so Gawn can rest?
etc etc

Unlikely as the above scenarios may be, I'm not taking any chances.
There's plenty of possible variables. But one known selected player is worth two players in the bush.

RND 9 - Macrae (game 1 WED) into Gawn (game 2 THU)
RND 10 - Macrae (game 1 MON) into Neale (game 2 TUE) or Gawn (game 4 WED)
RND 11 - Neal/Macrae (both game 2 SAT) into Gawn (game 4 SUN)

I know that Macrae has been selected tonight, and will be able to see if Gawn is named before the first bounce tonight.
Macrae 150+ or Gawn it is.

Thoughts on putting the C on Sicily?

Tough nut!

132, 149, 164 last 3 weeks

O'Brien, Breust, and Ceglar all back, should guarantee Sicily plays his intercept role and doesn't go forward.
Though who can tell with Crazy Clarko.

He’s a rollercoaster. Love owning him for his ceiling but I couldn’t take having the C on him.

Will sleep on it but my main league matchup is shot and so is my run to the $50k (am coming 12,543rd) so why not?

Worth a try! If Grundy and Neale do a Gawn and go sub-100, but Sicdog goes BANG, you're in the box seat.

But you're also the outside chance in this one. Let me know if you go for it!
