Has played only the 1 game this season and was disappointing. Was described by Malthouse as "different" when lashing out at some of the players. He was dropped for the next game.

Has been playing VFL all year, playing 12 games for the Seagulls (out of a possible 12), so hasn't been injured. Has shown good form in the Blue and Gold, but not enough to earn him a senior place, and his career at Collingwood is in somesort of doubt. Been talk on here of him being trade bait, considering this is his 3rd season at the club after being picked up very late in the 03' National Draft.

Rowe is a talent. He has played some very good games and some very bad games for Williamstown. He is a beautiful kick, right or left. His defensive pressure has improved somewhat.

If Mick wanted to trade him, we can get a second rounder, without fear.

When Rowe first played seniors in his first season i too thought he had good skills. However, everytime i have seen him play since his kicking has been poor. Has potential for us but prob more benefitial for us as trade bate.

I believe his groin and leg injuries is the cause of this, he had OP at the start of the season and said that he has had calf problems which really affected his kicking. Either way his kicking has been erratic. If you saw the Willy game on Saturday though it was great. He still does those slow, winding up, around the corner kicks that either go nowhere or get smothered.

Disagree. Every time I watch him he turns the ball over terribly.

'Beautiful Kick' in the impression that he naturally kicks well in front of goal, not often does he miss.

For Willi he was all class around the sticks in the wet. One great goal outside 50.

Been up and down in the VFL from what I’ve seen and read but probably more up than down. The problem is when he plays in the AFL he doesn’t get enough of the ball and when he does get it he lacks composure and turns it over too often. It’s a bit of a double edged sward. He will only get accustomed to the pace and develop composure by player but how many developing players can we carry at one time? My biggest concern is that the better players don’t develop composure they enter the AFL with it and then enhance their play when they (quickly) get used to the pace of the ball and player movement. Compare Rowe to Pendlebury. They both make mistakes but Pendlebury is younger yet he looks more composed.

Rowe is one for the wait and see list. We have enough duds to offload at the end of this year for him to be safe for 12 months unless someone makes a good offer which would be unlikely.
