Sure has a lot of venom for a team sitting 10-5 and outright second on the ladder.

Strange how two weeks of fadeouts is now 'notorious'.

Somebody from the Crows kick you in the balls or something, Michelangelo? Oh wait...you don't have any to kick...

I caught the same plane as him a couple of weeks ago. Nobody went near him. He looked like the sad, lonely fool that he is.

disgraceful journalist/power supporter. His port power articles are more motivational pieces. When will he criticise m Williams tactics and game plan? He tries his best to build the crows up to something we are not, when everyone knows we're overachieving as it is.

well Sam Newman knows that at least.
I dont mind Rucci (except for lazy, inaccurate stats), but Newman... geez its criminal how much he must be being paid for being such a moron.

EDIT: Although I did get a chuckle after Rucci wrote last week that Kenny's best spot was clearly CHB then a day or two later he was BOG at CHF

Rucci is pretty average.

Look I am the first to admit I do not like that you lot are doing very well. However, I dont believe in the word overachieving. The crows are quite simply getting the best out of themselves. Look at your fwd line. You guys are the first to criticise Perrie and Welsh and even Mcgregor but these guys have been sensational and simply dont get enough credit IMO. They dont have the reputations of a J Brown a reiwoldt or a tredrea but hey they are doing a better job. Footy is a team game and you guys ar elooking very very good.. 2nd spot is urs if u continue the way you are playing..

It hurts me to give credit to you crows but u gotta give it where it is due and I admire what Craigy and your club have done...

In saying this I hope u fall away badly and have a ******** finals campaign. I wouldnt be a port fan if i didnt. BUT I cannot see it..

This is a very reasonable post.

FWIW, my view also is that "I dont believe in the word overachieving". I think the Crows don't have outstanding "star players" on their list, but that this year they are getting results through the simple method of playing as a team. Everyone pulling their weight. All trying to go in the same direction. Good leadership.

That sort of stuff. You know, that might just work for a team sport, do you think?

Careful. He might sue you for defamation for that one. Rucci's definition of defaming him is, 'Telling the truth about me.'

I couldnt believe that Rucci made this big point of highlighting what was a nothing incident involving Rucciuto in today's paper.

What a moron there was nothing in it, yet Rucci's article implied that there was, whereas when a Port player gets reported even for something blantant he immediately goes on the defensive for the player and claims their innocence.

I am sure that Rucci would have loved for Roo to get a game or something for it.

Bad luck ferret looks like you wasted an hour or so writing an article that went nowhere :D

Maybe tomorrow morning he can write and claim how lucky he believes Adelaide and Roo are over the incident and how it should have been reported blah blah blah he might even consult with his "independant experts" on it.

There is the perception that Adelaide's heady start – to be 10-5 and ranked second – has finally hit the wall. Certainly this thought is backed up by the Crows falling in productivity at the stoppages and with inside-50 sorties.

There is a perception? With anyone other than Rucci? We've just WON those last two games to get to 10-5, why have we now hit a wall?

What a stupid article. He's worthy only of pity. The ladder positions of the respective teams are all the answer back we need.

Well blow me down another Rucci thread.

The best way to get back at him is to forget about him.

Precisely Kane. Dont know what the infatuation is with this fool. He is an owner operator. Enough said stop talking about him and letting hime fire you up. Cant you see thats what he wants?????????????

I agree and Ferret Head is best left to his own devices and ignored; if we continue to give his article credence and attention that they do not deserve he will continue to write his over zealous anti crows articles and ultimately win. Like the crap that the Victorian scribes are perpetuating against the ‘in house fighting at port Adelaide’ between Tredrea and Primus, if we continue to jump at his articles they will continue to be there.

Until someone can explain to me how someone can ‘overachieve’ in any aspect of life let alone football, anyone who suggest that the Adelaide Football Club ‘overachieved this season will have no credibility or worth in reading one of there articles or post. .

MCG finals war hots up

ADELAIDE'S mission to play AFL finals at AAMI Stadium for the first time since 1997 is no longer just an on-field battle.
__________

Dear oh dear.

I realise the game was overshadowed by Port's loss to Sydney, but we did play and defeat the West Coast Eagles in the 2003 Elimination Final at AAMI Stadium.

More quality from The Ragvertiser. The Chief Football Writer makes a factual howler and it goes straight past the sub-editor unnoticed also.

Just another one to add to the list of blatant errors.

Same quality as in the last 2 weeks when he referred to the Crows' 43 point lead at 3/4 time against Freo (actual 37), and also that Bode hadn't played an AFL game this year (played the first 2).

Rooch does not let facts get in the way of a good story. He should do well in the pub telling yarns with this god-given skill that he has.

Rucci stuffs up again

Opening line from Rucci's article in today's Advertiser:

"ADELAIDE'S mission to play AFL finals at AAMI Stadium for the first time since 1997 is no longer just an on-field battle."

Michaelangelo if you're out there, what about Crows v West Coast, Elimination final 2003? Guess where it was played.

Re: Rucci stuffs up again

You sure you're not reading yesterday's paper? Check here.

I realise Rooch baiting is the national past time here, but I think this is like shooting at the mounted trophy ...

WE should set up a thread of Rucciisms and list all his errors. It would be well into double figures for this month alone.
