Everitt is coming off a very poor season, and is at a club who has a capable ruckman already. He could score very well because of the stoppages, and his mobility and scoring power, but he's no sure thing.

What about Peter Everitt as a main ruckman? We know what he's capable of after 2005, and his poor form last year (avg. 75) means he should be good value. And considering Sydney is arguably the team with the most stoppages, he's bound to get plenty of action.

I don't understand why he's not higher rated. Is there something I don't know about him?

yeah good point, i might get him, i rethought the hudson thing and am starting with him. i might do out cox in everitt

Ruckman strategy could be a major key in this game. I have spent hours thinking about what i will do and the pros and cons of each. So much so that I have practically done a 180 on the inititial strategy I thought i would take.

The main thing is do you have someone like a hudson as your number 2 or 3 ruckman?? I think I have finally decided..

The other key point is what to do with your 4th ruckman? Do you try to get someone who will increase in value? Lets face it; it is highly unlikly that your 4th ruckman will ever get a game, and if they do they will only score minimal points anyway. I have even been thinking of throwing a rookie in there; with no intention to ever trade or play him and hence make it a 29 player/ $9.916M game.

Midfield and ruck is the key to high scores, spend the $ and look for value in the backline and forward line. Theres a few gambles that can be made in the backline this season, and a part from Bowden i think most of the expensive backs are relativley poor value compared with the mids.

I'm going with Lade and Cox with Griffen and a rookie on the bench.
