i think this is total crap guys but it sure has made me wonder seems wayyyy to good to be true.........apprentley we signed miller so he could be traded to the bulldogs for gia.......totally hogwash i dare say, but why would an adelaide poster put this on there board if something somewhere hasnt been reported.........have a look on the crows board under the brad miller thread

The guy was a tigers supporter and it was only his 9th ever post, so maybe he is making it up or maybe he knows what he's on about. If the trade is true then I'm happy, Gia isn't great, but he will replace Yze and is a hell of a lot better than Miller. It means we must draft talls though.

Why would we have to draft talls?...Miller doesn't play tall, and he doesn't play small, he plays like a piece of cr@p.

Miller hardly even plays so he wouldn't be a huge loss.

If this trade was to eventuate, which I highly doubt, it would be a great move for the Demons.

Knowing us we'd get stuck with someone like Farren Gay , I still remember Craig Ellis and all of his greatness he brought to the club .

He's a similar player to Moloney - gets the ball and bangs it inside 50. That doesn't make him an ideal pickup and a trade with Sydney should be looked at firstly but Miller for Ray would be pretty sweet if that's all we got.

ray similar to moloney???? wtf!!!....couldnt have two different types of mid-fielders if u ask me, one is strong built like a tank and loves physical contact, the other is a sheep dog who waits for others to get him the ball and hates physical contact!!.......but yes miller for ray i would do in a instant....................would much rather the rumored trade though of miller for giansiracusa

I think what MM was saying was they had similar roles in their respective teams. That is, launching the ball inside 50 at any given time. Body/physicality wasn't taken into account. Chill molishon...Chill

does anyone agree with my mathematics here?

farren ray = chris heffernan

Hef was actually pretty useful during his tenure at the Dees.

Heffernan>>>>>>>>Ray

he was pathetic, couldnt even tag a player out of the game. At the price he was getting paid (around $275,00 a year) he was hopless. Another case of a player who looks good in a good team(essendon 2000) and shows his true colours on a team that isnt all that good!!

Yeah, that's the one :)

Getting Ray would give us three of the top five picks from the '03 Draft.

Ray went 4 in that draft I think, all we'd need is Cooney and Walker to round out the 5.

CRAIG CAMERON IS flipping KIDDNIG HIMSELF...........I JUST HOPE HE IS TRYING TO MAXIMISE MILLERS VALUE FOR A DEAL WITH SYDNEY..........NO TAKERS ON T.J HEY???

Yeah, hopefully he's just talking Miller up a bit, trying to draw a slightly better deal from the Swans management.
I was interested to see Melbourne is trying to off-load TJ. Does that mean they are actively seeking a trade for him?? If this is the case, we could possibly use him as part of a deal for Haselby. Maybe TJ + our 2nd rounder for Haselby + their 2nd rounder?

I believe that Haselby has signed a new deal for another 2 years.

Also can't believe everything you read, all these TJ trades have been coming from the supporters. Knowing the media they get them off here or they pull them out their own asses.

And if Brad Miller is a required player at Melbourne then Travis Johnstone is a god and will win the Brownlow next year.

Well it looks like we've missed out on Judd. I suggest we trade Miller for Quigley.

its been rumored that quigley is harder at the ball than miller.........she wont come here though we havent got the training facilities for her and not close to enough cash

lol That's OK I'll give her all the training she needs. (Hard at the ball eh? Interesting.)

I'd rather keep Miller than have Farren Ray. I cannot stand Ray he is a dud, and a joke of a top pick... besides bails might be able to get miller up and going next year so show more promise by the next years trade week then we can trade him for someone decent. If not delist the bloke. Ray is a liability.

WB would have to be on acid to try and trade Gia for Miller. I'd take that anyday.

Don't get me wrong i like Gia, but i personally don't want to trade for soft outside players. I'd rather keep Miller then trade for those 2, at least Miller isn't soft.

miller wasnt soft 2 years ago......i could argue that point with u now though all day long...................gia is much much better than ray, yes he might be a bit of a outside player but he has lots of class, he is a mid-fielder really but injuries have restricted him to playing in the foward line the last 2 years...........once he got his body right he would be extremley valuable, as he has shown the last 2 years even patrly injured he has the ability to kick goals
