Pokemon is still addicting and quite good.

Runescape is just the poor mans MMO nowdays. The game itself isn't too bad, and can be quite fun but due to the relative cheapness and easy accessibility, its full of 12-13 y.o kids and the community is terrible.

As something to consider, if you create a Female character, you WILL get asked out in the starting area.:D

Yeah. Pokemon is an epic game.

must be different schooling between different states.

i began playing early 2002.
so account is 7 years old.

I hate the game atm, too many items, too complicated.
When it was 2d and fun i loved it. but now, eh i couldnt be bothered with it.

The Runescape age, well at least in my eyes was Late 2004 to Late 2005. I shifted from QLD to WA during that time.

Also don't forget Neopets, that was the site I used to frequent before Runescape. Ahh memories :D

Thats Year 5+6 for me xD.

though sadly i did play into year 7.
 
Ahh, RuneScape. How I remember the days I spent in front of my PC thanks to this game. I played it at an addicted level from 2004-2007, finally quitting with a lvl 103 character with 99 range. :rolleyes:

Since then I've gone on to better things. But I have to admit though, it's still a bloody good game. The only reason I don't play it anymore is because I have a better PC now (back then I was stuck with a PC that struggled to play Age of Empires II, lols), but I enjoyed (almost) every minute of the game, from lvl 3-103. I think a large part of that was because of the community, which (IMO) is even better than a MMORPG such as World of Warcraft.

If I ever downgrade my PC... RuneScape here I come! :rolleyes:
 
Got addicted to it in late 2005 - early 2006 when our good computer was off for repairs and got up to level 55 or something. Its fun to begin with, but just gets boring and repetitive after like level 20.

Bahaha when I started getting bored of it and couldn't be bothered earning money I just made a female character so I could scab money off desperate guys (most of whom probably hadn't hit puberty yet).

I have a level 136 with 2153 total

Can't get into this game anymore though... playing like 2 months a year usually.

Runescape was a strange part of my life. When I was a member, the only thing I did was pick flax and make bow strings out of it, earning myself thousands and thousands of dollars.

When I was no longer a member, all I did was kill those giants for big bones, and sell them too.

Somehow I still got to some level in the 60's, then gave up.
 
If anyone is interested old school runescape is back well no one has commented for 3 years so this might not be relevant....

Used to play this heaps from 2005-2008. Once it gets to a high level the grind was too much for me.

Ah but that grind was rewarding though, in all honesty i can't believe there is an actual thread about this game which we all love <3
 
boy do i remember runescape, grinding and selling. As well as trying to get around the swear filter. Never got good at it, never paid for it. Looks revamped and i might give it a go to see how it has evolved, but bring back old school runescape!
