Anyone know how his conditioning is at the moment, seen him play any games in the last year?? I heard he was training at the Lexus Center, however that's widely open and in no means links him to the main group.

Depending on who was available ahead of him in the PSD, would certainly consider him, would be a handy pickup and welcomed back with open arms. Still don't understand the exact reason he was delisted in the first place.

Where bouts did you hear this??

i bet the kanga's pick up Rupert... just got a feeling

As much as we all love rupe...

we really need to look forward and draft some young talent.

Rupe WAS a great player for the club, but i really hope we don't make a sentimental signing.

By all means sign rupe up, but not if there is someone better on offer.

Contrary to popular Collingwood opinion, Rupe was not a 'great' player for the club. He was servicable and gave it his all. I'd much rather our administration and coaching staff spend their time looking forward, then worrying about ageing delistees.

Rupe is great, he has balls and has a genuine crack at the ball. Something many of our soft young players lack, maybe they can watch some tapes of him going at the ball even when the game is gone and learn a thing or two.

Talk about people being blinded by loyalty!!! Betheras was a fringe player, popular as he was, he was no star. Probably got chopped a year too soon but thats water under the bridge.

Rupe was the classic Jack Dyer "good ordinary player"
