Son of Neil isn't he? Lot of games for East Freo prior to Freo coming into the AFL. Heard a bit of talk about Ryan on ABC Grandstand one day when the Sharks were on the tele. Commentators seemed to rate him.

saw a pic of him wearing Hawks gear 4 the GF
but did say that he would play anywhere when I once asked him what would happen if he got drafted by Freo.
despite being a canaries boy, is actually a decent fella
 
Very very clever medium forward for EF. kinda pushed Duffy out of the forward line this year at East Freo. Kicks multiple goal. Good set shot and good skills. I wondered how clubs would rate him, now we know.
 
malpaso what pick did we nominate?? 3rd round or later?? not worth higher, if third round do you rekon it means no Mitch Thorpe??
 
He's already 21, so been around a bit. Another mature age gem in the making perhaps? Wonder why F/S when they could likely pick him up with a rookie pick at that age.

from what i have seen, seems to be a pretty smart footballer. no one particularly outstanding quality but gets a lot of it and kicks goals. pretty sure he did some damage to his knee towards the end of the season
