As it's been raised that another club might actually want him, what's he worth. Bulldogs supporters, what do you think you pay him? Do any other clubs want him? I honestly thought he might get some attention from Port Adelaide as a second string forward to Charlie Dixon.

More interested in Hawks supporters views of him. You guys know more than anyone else hopefully

I think he was played out of position for half of his career and then he had a knee reconstruction. If he was played as a forward from day 1 things would be different, but he never got to do that so I think he's limited.

His positives are that he does make a contest, if he can take a mark anywhere within shot of the goal he'll likely sink it and he's a beautiful field kick. Weights the ball perfectly and hits people in stride whether they're leading towards or away.

One thing he a very good at is bringing the ball to ground level. 1v1 or 2v1 even he gets hands to it and won't allow an intercept mark.

Very solid set shot from pretty much anywhere inside 55m. Good field kick.

Shoey is a player where you get what you pay for, nothing more, nothing less.

I'm really surprised another club wants him to be honest.
I guess being an unrestricted free agent helps.
Can't question his effort when on the field so you would know what he brings each week at least.

He can fill in either forward or back if any of their talls are injured...and even if they are all in, he can probably fit in as a "third tall" swingman.
Tigers should get him provides another option

Probably not a bad pick-up if you want some cheap back-up. As posted above - Tigers seem like a good fit. They have a huge lack of KP forwards and could afford to have a depth option on their list for the next couple of years if they think they will challenge.

Wouldn't give much for him though. He's really not great.

He would help Jack by not being double teamed.

Apparently Dogs should be taking a look for similar reasons with Stringer.

As for what worth... I doubt anything higher than 3rd round. Would easily have 3 years of football left in him.

I think he would be the perfect fit for the Tigers unless they wish to persist with the mosquito fleet of forwards + Jack.

Schoey is a bargain basement CHF that would come cheap. Won't set the world on fire but will run like a madman, clunk a few marks, drop a few to the feet of smalls, chase, defend and might kick an odd bag here or there. Good for a goal a game at best and set up a few others.

Won't be a star. Will be a solid best 22 contributor or decent depth on both ends at worst.

Gives it his all.

Has been given a 1 year contract, according to Jon Ralph....And Shaun Burgoyne got 1 year also.

Want him to stay.
think we found him a spot in the team

I like the bloke, but if we have a spot in the team for him then we need to be working on that spot. I'm not sure how good he could have been, but being played in defense and having a knee reconstruction severely lowered his ceiling from what I can tell.

He is a decent bloke and loves the club so happy he signed on again
