Went to get a trim yesterday at the local hairdresser.

The chic that normally does it broke her leg and wasnt there. So had this other chic. I told her that I wanted the same haircut as last time (i.e just a couple of cm's off). Made me do the whole washing of the hair crap, then spent 45 minutes just massacating my head. I mean its bad enough having a pretty rough head - but now shes pretty much ensured that any chance of procreating I have had has been incinerated. And then she had the audacity to ask me to pay $50!!!! I normally pay $15....Walked out with this ****ed up hipster fringe (Chris Masten like) nothing cut straight and went home took one look at it and shaved it off!!!!

Anyway just wondering if other people have similar experiences - bad hair cuts shit me to tears!!!!! Ruins the weekend. There just seems to be so many incompetent mungholes out there.

I cut my own hair, short back and sides. The whole set (inc. clippers) cost me $10, used it over a dozen times. UMAD?

Worse is going into get a cut from a barber! Basin head much!? Learnt my lesson from a few years ago. Absolute travesty of a cut: no ****en style, no fringe, just short back and sides, walked out looking like a ****en Lego head!

Now I've been going to a female hairdressers for the past few years, they're great.

I just take my boys to the barbers to get their heads shaved (they love the skinhead look).

Just shave my head to a number 3 once every 6 weeks ish. Havn't paid for a hair cut in about 4 years. Shaved head ftw.
