So you havn't seen the way he has Thomas and Pendlebury going about it in their second seasons????

You don't think he has improved Cox as a player who was lucky to be picked up as a rookie.

You couldn't see how he lifted us with 3 first gamers last week.

Collingwood are lacking a few things player wise. But they are not lacking a good creative coach. I'm behind Malthouse. We are simply in a faze where we are seeing out the old and bringing in the new. Seriously we have all ready debuted 4 players this season.

Injuries also don't help.

You'll find thats the recruiting staff would be behind that. While he does have some say come draft day I don't think Mick in his very busy schedual would be able to travel the country each week looking for the best ruckman in the juniors.

You're pathetic...we lost to a full strength team with not much to write home about (Johnson, Clement our best out there coming back from injury, No Medhurst, Buckley, Didak, Holland).

I think, in some cases, we are lucky to be 2-2, and were a sniff away from being 3-1. I hate bandwagoners like you...if we make September, you'd be all aboard the Malthouse train.

I was walking back to the car tonight annoyed with Malthouse, but I don't come onto BigFooty when I get home and write Sack the Coach after a 3-goal loss to a side with the best ruckman with possibly the best clearance player (Burgoyne). They were all class, and then their is Chad Cornes, who if he didn't play, we would've won!

Malthouse had a great style last year, and we were top 4...we lose a game, SACK THE COACH...it's ridiculous and repetitive.

Also, from your last post, if you don't get a holiday I will be amazed. We might start winning, you may get your privelages back, and start supporting the team, I dunno.

Lets sack Mick after round 4 (hang on, when we lost in Perth by a couple you wanted Mick sacked then, so lets say round 2), lets just get Guy McKenna in to coach the rest of the year, or maybe Gavin Brown.

Malthouse is the sixth most successful coach in the VFL/AFL history, twice a premiership coach, and coached a team to 5 grand finals, coached a side to the finals 14 times...and Malthouse only got his side to finish 5th last season (despite being expected to finish bottom 4).

It is a stupid call, which you have done twice out of two possible losses. You have only been on this forum for four games...we've lost two games, you've asked for him to be sacked after both games. We win one...where's Dave?, we win again...where's Dave? where's the Sack MM thread after a win?

Brogan, Pearce and Motlop would all be considered first 22 players for Port, while Adam Thomson and Troy Chaplin would be in most Port supporters' best 22 also.
