As a diehard saints fan who honestly thinks they have a shot at the premiership this year, i am a bit worried with early form. Aside from injuries, we have lost to:
Brisbane
Kangaroos
Geelong
we have beaten
Collingwood
Fremantle
Richmond
Melbourne
Apart from melbourne (who played poorly) we have only beaten mediocre teams. To win the premeirship, we are going to have to stand up against teams like the roos and cats, not the tigers and pies. I hope we win it, but we are going to have to prove ourselves and soon.
As a side note:
The disappointing year that BJ, McGough, Fisher, Ferguson and even Koschitzke has had really worries me that we are relying on our midfield stars too much.
