Replace that with “our best player”. It’s just very odd. I’m not sure anybody expected him to play so much as a forward. If he’s injured then let us know. You can’t base a marketing campaign on him with literally thousands of new members purchasing a NAS membership, then use him the way we have without explanation.

1st half was good football to watch, however all throughout the game so many players are making basic skill errors like catching the ball, which got worse in the 2nd half. A few looked devoid of confidence. Also getting sucked into the contest by air or at ground level

Really 0-2 means we can barely get to top 6. Will be lucky to be 10th.
The skills we appalling, really the dropped marks the shanked kicks with no pressure.

Talk of playing finals is irrelevant right now. Winning a match looks a long way off at this point. Honestly looks like WCE is our only obvious winnable match in the first half of the year. We'll get a few massive thrashing once we hit good sides and we'd struggle to mentally recover at that point. I give us wins against Tigers x 2 and the WCEs and then hope we can knock a few others off who are napping.

I don't know how we can turn this around. Nothing about it looks easily fixable. This is our best 22 minus King.

Have watched both of your games this season and cannot understand why NWM is playing forward so much? Is it to try to break a tag? Surely you’d rather have him getting 25-30 damaging touches in the middle than kicking 2-3 playing out of the square?

Has to be carrying something. They said on Fox the other day that he copped a big corky early in the second quarter last week, and they showed footage of him in the rooms after that game, limping around, with a bag of ice on his thigh, so maybe it’s from that knock.

Hard to understand otherwise.

Yeah it’s a bit depressing. We have to get NAS on or behind the ball so he can bash us into shape. Elevate playing through Hall at half forward (even more) and get an outlet handball from the stoppages more than half a metre away. Oh, and don’t kick it to Gawn 15 times a quarter.
