What a great idea... and then people complain about the way he posts. Go figure...
I don't think he started that line of posts with plugger specifically in mind, but once he had him on the hook he reeled him in as he presumably would have anyone who took the bait. He was just being silly as I said, like he was the night before, and I don't think we should have to tip-toe around on here just so that pluggs doesn't go all Saintsational on us!

Was bored so I had a look on the Hawthorn thread reviewing this game and this was a really interesting post:

I sat next to Brenton Sanderson on the flight back to Melbourne after the match (Hawks boys on too)

Anyway, two interesting comments made by Sando, and some SEN guy we were next to

1. The Hawthorn boys were very confident of running over the Saints, because as soon as the Saints hit the front, they all started arguing on the field. The older boys wanted to slow the game down and hold on to the lead, the younger boys were keen to keep up the intensity and win it that way. They continued to argue on field, and played into Hawks hands. The Saints didnt have a rehearsed plan on how to hold a lead.

Have to say, I don't like the idea of trying to protect a very small lead that far from the end of the game and when you have all the momentum and a decent wind. I'd want us to keep on doing what got into that position in the first place and only try to protect the lead if the tide turns later on in the game.

I reckon if I was in the position Hawthorn were in I'd much prefer for the team with all the momentum and the wind to go defensive and try to protect the lead, rather than try to push it out to 3-4 goals.

God almighty feels like they've been arguing all week.

You should have seen us over at Saintsational then, I'm holding back on here so it doesn't descend.

They fell back into some old Ross Lyon style slow down. I reckon that was what I said, they chose to go conservative and stopped doing the high risk stuff that got them the lead in the first place. I like the kids thinking.

No doubt he was having a lend of me but also no doubt he really means it. History always shows the truth. Anyway I like real humour not humour knocking a saint

you could look at this way. he knows whats coming from behind. he knows his limitations. he knows the club has targeted quality ball users. he knows he has to perform beyond expectation to keep his spot. so this forces him to play his role everyweek as best he can.

Here come the umpires to the Hawks rescue again....

Its good , because after 3 games , when the commentators say "the Hawks know how to win" EVERYONE is snickering.
Its not blatantly obvious that they are taking into account "who" they are giving the free's to.
Now that everyone can see it , they can eradicate it.

Just enjoying the rise of Hawthorn Free Kick memes. Pretty funny.
