Can we really fit in Brown and Cousins in our teams salary cap? Like is there enough room in out salary cap as they are both star players and they wouldn't be cheap.

Brown will stay at Brisbane thank god.

Benny is a 30 plus and by the time he retires it will free us up perfectly for increases to blokes like Thomas Pendles who are hopefully demanding a bit more by that stage.

Cousins will be pretty happy to get the opportunity to play out his career under MM, redeem himself in the eyes of the football public and smash Judd and the Blues on a regular basis.

I don't think his salary will be that much.

Exactly right. We've got plenty of Cap space anyway + by the time Cousins does retire, we'll have blokes like Thomas, Plendlebury and Clarke reaching the age of 24-25 when they can demand their highest prices so the timing is perfect.

Also, I wouldn't suspect Cousins would be on a bigger contract then someone like O'Bree or Burns now, around 200 000 - 300 000 or so thousand. He is over 30, and wouldn't be demanding anymore because of his circumstances.

If there are cap problems we just give all the players wives and girlfriends highly paid clerical jobs at the president's company.....it works for Carltoon.

besides im sure didak and shaw wouldnt say much if some of their salary was siphoned off....
