Definitely had my doubts but your right, he's picked up the pace of the AFL game now and thriving. Could turn into a Sam Mitchell type for us.Treated the AFL like it was the SANFL tonight. This guy has been absolute silk for the Magpies, relieved to see him doing his thing finally.
Is he Roger Jamesque?I liked his game against Melbourne in Alice Springs and thought he showed something as a midfielder there. He was really strong at the ball and body, plays like a good nuggety country footballer should. So pleased that he has taken his chance the past few weeks.
Is he Roger Jamesque?
He does have some of Roger's cleverness about his play. He is surprisingly quick, probably quicker than Roger but then the game is quicker now than it was then.
Definitely a midfielder. The small forward experiment almost cost him his career.
Well done Sammy.

lol, Maybe we could try Ebert down back as a spare man that uses his gut running to help defend since Sammy Gray and Arch have pushed him out of the middle. He's not really a goal kicker when forward.perhaps we could try him down back then?
