Sam Newman re: Griffen

Watching the footy show Sam Newman said (saying this is FACT) that the bulldogs sneaked Griffen off to a local football oval to train on his own and apparently trained the house down. Saying the dogs are just trying to make the pie's think he is actually injured. If he is indeed fit awesome.

My sentiments exactly. I cringe every time he brings up that he is a bulldogs member.

I only thought there might have actually been some validity to what he was saying for once, only because i can see it happening, and it makes sense.

But as you said, mostly likely bull shit.

I get sick of every dig of his towards the bulldogs starting with 'I'm a member' as though it makes it okay.

But I have to admit, I thought they might have been doing secret training as well.

You or I have a better chance of knowing anything even remotely 'secret' about the Bulldogs then Akermanis at the moment.

I also found it weird that Barry was saying Griff was extremely doubtful when he was named and Eade said he 50-50 to play. Can sense a lot of mind games going on

Yep, thats what i thought also, Barry new and he was trying hard not to give it away.

Starting to belive he will play and play well.

I thought they might have been doing secret training as well.

To be a secret, the Pies would not know about it. Newman said the Pies knew about it and actually watched him train.

Star player who has been a consistent finals performer + unhampered by injury = play well on the weekend.

Pretty simple formula I would have thought. Or are the rumours about Pies supporters being slow true afterall.

both times collingwood have played st kilda this year they have spoken about our injured players and been spot on both times. i guess every club has its spies?
